Sushi Tomo is an excellent spot for sushi just outside the city of Pittsburgh, and honestly one of the better finds in the area. The rolls were incredibly fresh and tasted fantastic — balanced, clean, and made with care. I also have to shout out the miso soup, which was the saltiest, yummiest bowl I’ve ever had in the best possible way.

I’ve eaten inside the restaurant, have also picked up an order to take back to my hotel and have also had delivered to my hotel. This is by far the BEST Japanese Sushi restaurant in the greater Pittsburgh area. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, the Sushi Chefs are fantastic and the presentation is any way you choose. As you can see from my photos, I order sashimi style (one photo was a mistaken delivery of sushi, and the restaurant quickly sent a new order).
