A group of 14 of us walked into Tavern tonight after Caliente Pizza down the street could not / would not seat us. (Details of that saga in another review The staff at Tavern were amazing. They accomodated all 14 of us with no notice with a bunch of tables pushed together. Service was efficient and friendly. I had the cajun chicken pasta. Chicken was dry, but pasta was excellent. We were in town from out of state and wanted bar food.The food was delicious. Everything was fresh and tasted like quality products were used.The server was friendly and funny, she had us laughing the whole time.Touch tunes so you can play whatever you like.Lots of parking.Located in a small plaza with other businesses, like a pizza shop.We definitely plan on stopping here again when we are in Pittsburgh on a Mac Miller trip again.

Was there Saturday evening with four friends. First time. This is a very welcoming and friendly place. The service was excellent both at the bar and at the table. We were very well taken care of. And everyone loved their food. The soup of the day was Wedding Soup. It was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu items that I couldn't decide on.
