The Dor-Stop Restaurant

It breaks my heart to have to write a review for the Dor-Stop that’s below a 5 star review. I’ve been coming here since I was a child and have always loved the servers, food, and atmosphere. Sadly the wait times for food are absolutely unfair to the customers and the servers. I can only accredit the absolutely insane wait times (45+ minutes for two people) to the back log of DoorDash orders that come in. Not only does this make it super frustrating for the customers waiting for their food but also the servers who are amazing and unable to turn tables over to make money for themselves. This is my second time coming to the Dor-Stop in the last month and I’m so disappointed that DoorDash orders have taken priority over the in house customers and the servers.

We’ve been going to this little spot for over 10 years. One of our favorite places to take out of town guests. This time was embarrassing as we hyped up everything about this spot and couldn’t be more disappointed in everything about our experience. I know all
Good tings must come to an end but I’m sure hoping this was a fluke situation. However, zero wait n Sunday morning tells me it could be a sign of the times!!
Food was dry. Server was not able to properly handle the work load. Had to repeatedly ask for items ordered. Drinks to be included. Ughhh.
We definitely were embarrassed to bring our friends to this spot.

Not what it used to be, but certainly eking out every ounce of value from the Guy Fieri visit, based on the wait. My Western omelette was dried out, over cooked and tasteless. My husband's mixed grill was mostly potatoes. Used to be all fresh ingredients and great food. Very disappointing experience.

Great food even better services!!

Went here for the first time recently and got the Mexican Eggs Benedict. I was not sure what to expect, but it was delicious and a nice mix up compared to what you can normally find for breakfast in the area. Service was incredible. Parking is on the street and there isn't a ton of it, but I recommend you find a spot and try this out, even if you have to walk a little bit.

Love this place in Dormont! The Dor-Stop Restaurant has such a warm and welcoming vibe. The iced mocha I tried was amazing, and the staff were so friendly. Knowing Guy Fieri stopped here makes it even cooler. Definitely one of my favorite spots for breakfast or a quick coffee break!

Was there this morning… I haven’t been there since the new owners took over. I thought it was strange when there wasn’t a line at the door like it usually is and there were empty tables. Now I know why. Quality has definitely dropped. Will I go back? No
