We had reservations for this place... And apparently so did the small crowd gathered at the door waiting for someone to show up to accommodate them somehow in a placed packed. I am sure the food is worth all the hype, but being quite attached to my time would rather go elsewhere where a reservation (a lot of them it seems) is honored.

The Mac and cheese, hush puppies, fried chicken sandwich, and pulled park sandwich were all excellent. The only thing we didn’t care for as much was the spicy chicken wing dip. But we had more than enough excellent food to make up for it.

We ended up at The Eagle super last minute before going to see The Nutcracker at the Benedum. Despite being really busy, we were able to be seated right away, which was perfect! The service was wonderful, and our waiter was very attentive and helpful with our questions about the menu. The food was wonderful, and I appreciated the vegetarian options. We got the kale salad, cornbread, fries, mac & cheese, and chicken sandwiches. The other people in my party said the chicken...
