Social House 7 Reviews
I had a reservation for dinner at 4, prior to my show. I was alone, as my friend was unable to be there. I had the Lychee martini to start , then the pork Gyoza, then the short rib Robata. Both were excellent. My server was very nice. She recommended both dishes and the martini. They were Spot on. The only thing was, it was just a wee bit dark. I will not take so long to return.
Every time I've been to Social House Seven, it's been an exquisite experience. Every dish has been amazing. It may just be my favorite Pittsburgh restaurant.
I have been to social house several times. In the past I felt it was very good. This time it felt very dated and a little dirty. It is so dark in there also. I don't like to not be able to see my food.

Social House 7 is a highly regarded restaurant in Pittsburgh, known for its elegant dining atmosphere and exceptional culinary offerings. The restaurant is praised for its attentive and accommodating staff, who guide diners through the dining experience and encourage sharing a variety of dishes. The menu features fresh, flavorful dishes, including the Miso Glazed Salmon, Asian Sticky Ribs, and Wagyu, which have been described as "beyond description with flavor." Many customers have called the food absolutely amazing, especially highlighting the Miso Salmon as spectacular and worth the price. The decor is gorgeous and provides a prime photo-op location, making it a great place for special occasions. Service is generally good, even during rush hours, with attentive staff receiving praise. Drinks are somewhat limited, mostly sweet cocktails, and some guests wish for better tap selections and Japanese whiskeys. The restaurant’s interior is very beautiful, creating a perfect setting for date nights or impressing visiting family and friends. The staff, including attentive waiters like Mike, are quick and observant, making the experience lovely. Customers enjoy sharing dishes such as the Fire Dragon Chicken, Lettuce Wraps, and Broccoli Classy, which add to the down-to-earth and shareable dining atmosphere. Some criticisms include fatty pork belly skewers and a mayonnaise-based sauce on the short rib yaki, but overall, the experience is memorable. Social House 7 is considered a gem in the city, offering a dining experience that many find highly enjoyable and worth returning for.
