There is nothing anywhere that can begin to describe "The O." They have the best hot dogs and the best fries you'll ever eat. The hot dogs are all-beef and the small order of fries is so big, two people can't finish it. Everybody loves "The O" and you will too.
Five stars for the Pittsburgh memories of The Original Hotdog Shop. Like other businesses in Oakland, The Original is closing, because driving into the Oakland section of Pittsburgh, and finding a place to park has become a nightmare, thanks to Mayor Peduto, and the Pittsburgh City Council. There is virtually no where to park in Oakland, because little-used bicycle lanes have narrowed the streets, and taken away most on-street parking. I normally don't post reviews for food but the first time I visited my in-laws and we had Hot Dog Shop, It felt like I died and went to heaven lol. The wedding soup there is amazing and the breakfast is good as well. Highly recommend.
