We tried a variety of baked goods. Three different types of brownies, all of which were very underwhelming. More topping than actual brownie. The apple pie we got was very watery, the crust was hard and very thin, and the apples were very undercooked and hard.

My son wanted a sloth cake for his birthday and The pie Place really came through!!! We didn’t even want to eat it because it looked so good. I’m glad we did because it was delicious! The Pie Place will forever get my orders!

This bakery has been my go-to spot for years, and I've still yet to discover another establishment that can rival its quality. My family can't get enough of their brownies or pepperoni rolls!!! (Their cinnamon buns are also to die for) I recommend The Pie Place to anyone and everyone!

Google pointed me to The Pie Place when I searched for a coffee shop. The young girl behind the counter could not answer even the most simple question. (How many shots of espresso do you put in a large latte.) One of the other ladies working had to come out of the back to answer my question and to actually make my drink. Then the younger girl touched my pastry with her bare hands after putting it into a plastic container. She actually opened the container in order to touch my food. On a positive note, the pastry and the latte were both delicious.

On short notice we needed a raisen pie. They were able to accomodate the request and it was still warm when picked up. It made our boss very happy and it was one of the best he had ever had! Everything is always so good from there.

Best pie in Pittsburgh and - I’ll go ahead and say it - best I have ever had! The cherry was my favorite for years, then I had had fruit of the forest and it is offering strong competition. I wish I could eat these pies every day.

I absolutely adore this place. I really enjoyed the fruit of the forest cobbler. It's such a cute little place. I am going to definitely try the pie next time.

Hello fellow Yelpers! The pie place is a very clean shop with nice staff offering all sorts of baked goods! There's a large selection of pies, tarts, bars, and cookies. It's a nice shop with numerous options for pie lovers out there. The nice thing for us was that the pies offered came in numerous sizes! You could get slices, whole, and even mini (as seen in our picture). The pies are standard in taste they aren't the best pies we've ever had nor bad they are just good and what you'd expect. They were baked and displayed for a while so they weren't piping hot or anything when we bought them either (plus it would melt the whipped cream so the minis are cold on purpose), but they are good and we would recommend giving a try if you have a pie lover out there. The only big con here is that the pies are a little pricier at around $16 and up, though I forget the mini pie prices (maybe around $6 each?) so it's not the most affordable, they do need to pay rent for the space though.Overall a good standard pie experience with good options. Would say give a stop by!Thank you so much for reading, stay safe and well out there. Thanks for being...YOU! :)

Let me start out by saying that the only reason I'm not 5-starring the store is that I've only tried one item...so far! I needed a peach pie for a friend's birthday party, and, you know how sometimes you'd just rather have a root canal than bake? Yeah, so that was me this time. I looked up a couple of bakeries near me, and they didn't seem to sell what I needed, so I dug waaaaay back in my brain and remembered "The Pie Place". While no longer convenient to me, it IS pretty convenient to the birthday girl's place, so I ordered my peach pie, which I'd pick up about an hour before the party. One note: the little strip mall in which the store is located is a nightmare to exit due to traffic and lights, but this was, as it turned out, a small price to pay. The store itself was not busy when I got there. It's very bright and clean, and oh my GOD, the baked goods on display!! I would have GLADLY just pulled up a chair and dug in, but, decorum, you know. The pie was $20 ( no tax if you pay in cash!), which I didn't think was bad given the place, the item, and the high cost of EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE! I never looked at the pie until we opened it at the party, but it was GORGEOUS! Latticed with twists of sugared pie crust, STUFFED with peaches. And it tasted as good as it looked! I liked the fact that it wasn't super sweet--a lot of pies ARE, to disguise the fact that the fruit tastes like sawdust. Just really pleased with this, and another special occasion will have me heading back!

Love the pie place!! I hate cake so my mom has made me homemade cherry pie for most of my life. She's 88 now so can no longer make them. My wife got me one from the pie place for my birthday and it tasted was so homemade I thought my mom made it. Never actually bought one from there not have I ever eaten there so can't comment on either.

Wow, just an amazing pie shop in an otherwise unassuming location. We loved the peach raspberry pie, and the cookies, and the brownies, and...Go here. You won't be disappointed.
