I have been a customer for many years and the staff is wonderful. The place is clean and welcoming. The pretzels are the best and the pretzel sandwiches are also wonderful. I also like their salads and cookies.

With a name like Pretzel Shop its easy to assume its just another corporate franchise but they are anything but. A small Mom and Pop shop that has been a staple to South Side for literally generations! And dont let the name fool you, they do more than pretzels. There's salads, bakery treats, and the likes! Everything they make is fresh and delectable! I especially love the chicken salad pretzel! The best part, you can get your fill here for $10 or so, its phenomenal!

I have never been to this place but a good friend of mine always goes there very impressed with everything in there. The people were great service was good. Food was excellent, especially their baked products and the price. You can't beat the price anywhere in Pittsburgh. The greatest pretzels that I've eaten in Pittsburgh.
Whoever is running this place. You have definitely got it going on. Very impressed.

The Pretzel Shop is almost one hundred years old and sells pretzels in many sizes and flavors. It also sells some other types of foods, desserts, and catering. During my trip here, the employees did their jobs. I bought several pretzels with cheese, and I thought that they tasted good.

The Pretzel Shop is Pittsburgh’s go-to spot for fun, quick bites and also a fantastic choice for catering any party or event. The pretzels are always fresh, delicious, and perfect for any occasion.

The staff makes the experience even better—everyone is so friendly and welcoming. A special shoutout to the short lady with black hair—she always greets me and my baby with such kindness and never fails to put a smile on our faces!!

If you’re looking for great food paired with genuine hospitality, The Pretzel Shop is a must-visit!

Food is delicious. However the short girl with black hair is beyond miserable and rude. She doesnt even hide it how much you are bothering her by breathing in her vicinity while trying to order. She rushes you standing there with her disgust for you. Its such a complete turn off to go in even with how good it is. So if you can get past the angry little lady, you'll love it.

I consider this place a Pittsburgh staple.
The pretzels are just simple, and perfect.
They also have amazing sandwiches, cookies, and treats. Grab a bag of them to go for your friends, family, or coworkers. You can’t go wrong.

The crew working before the lunch rush needs to settle down and focus on orders. My order was wrong when I received it. Since you pay cash, you get screwed. Fix your staff. Otherwise great food.

A perfect hole-in-the-wall that's been in the area since I've been born. Absolutely wonderful staff and prices that can't be beat. I love the sweet sausage pretzel sandwich that's carried here, as well as their crab meat sandwich for Lent. Cookies are amazing as well!

Easily a 5/5 across the board.

Cash only establishments with predatory ATMs in the corner need to get out of the 1980s and catch up with the rest of the world. If you need to evade taxes, just increase your prices.
