Born and Raised in Pittsburgh and moved to North Carolina last year. I was in Pittsburgh for my mom's birthday and had to stop at the shop this morning. 24 pretzels were distributed amongst family and new friends in NC. 5 stars as always.

So I moved from Indiana to Ohio we wife and I saw this pretzel shop in Pittsburgh online went there today I chicken bacon and cheese sandwich wife ordered a ham and cheese sandwich must say the best sandwiches we have ever had and ordered other pretzels which were amazing too also ordered the pasta salad to die for so 100/100 thank you for great food and service we will definitely take the hour drive again for this delicious food

Absolutely wonderful products, not just pretzels, pastries, special pretzels and salads.
The only problem is they are cash only. They are trying to keep costs down. Unfortunately their record keeping is on scraps of paper. So if you preorder and pay for it make sure you get a receipt.

This place rules. Food is delicious and affordable and the service is quick and friendly. My favorite is the tuna salad sandwich, which they offer on Tuesdays — maybe my fav tuna salad sandwich of all time. The chicken salad sandwich and breakfast sandwich are also very good. Great neighborhood spot!

Never disappoints. & the chicken salad sandwich is SO good - best I ever had ??
Consistent and delicious! The Pretzel Pizza slices are definitely worth a try! And the meatball pretzel bun is one of my go-tos. I only wish they woukd add evening hours a couple days a week.

For price, quality, and how quickly you get the food, 10/10 would and will be back, absolutely amazing. Got 2 chipotle Turkey pretzel sandwiches, $4.50 per sandwich
Selection later on the day gets a bit sparse if you want a specialty pretzel (sugar cinnamon, etc.) but plenty of regular pretzels.

I used to order a couple sausage sandwiches pretty regularly, without cheese, since I can't eat cheese. Now, they do not offer a hot sausage sandwich without cheese! There's no option to remove toppings or add instructions.
Why would you take away the option to buy them plain? It cost you my business!

By far one of my favorite spots to grab a quick bite in South Side! Pretzels are great and workers are super friendly. Prices are affordable and the food is quality… I have to make a weekly stop for their cinnamon rolls because they are to die for! I ❤️ the Pretzel Shop!
