As another patron noted, the staff didn't seem all too keen to indulge in free-chat. I too felt a bit burdensome for no apparent reason other than being older than the common lot. But the space makes up for it and some of the beer was very good. I definitely look forward to returning. It seems to me that there's a lot of weird class resentment in Pittsburgh. You can be a bar owner but feel somehow threatened by someone who speaks in an educated manner, even if you're economically far less off.

The drinks are solid and the outdoor area is a real highlight. With that being said, the bar staff here is terrible and cannot be bothered to treat customers with decency. I’ve been on the receiving end of grown adults being paid to be there yelling at me like a child because I dared to use a bar cart without a plastic tub on it. Both the woman named Atia and the guy with glasses who said his name was M (?) need to be fired, they are some of the rudest bartenders I have ever met. This place could be so great but at this point I’ll just steer clear.

This is a cool brewery in Bloomfield. I visited on a Saturday and had the oolong seltzer.

I really enjoy the atmosphere at Trace and appreciate the non-alc options they have to offer (though would like to see a few more!) Great food truck rotation and is very inclusive.

I have never been here for the beer, but I love it as a coffee shop. It's always quiet, beautiful, lots of plants, great service, and good coffee from people who care about what they're doing. The fireplace is a particularly nice touch with the cold weather.I've been a number of times and will keep going!
Im so disappointed in Trace. I have been a big fan of their coffee and I drive out of my way to be a customer. Today I ordered a large oat latte. It was served in a small cup. Larger cups were available and I order 4 shots, so I requested the larger cup. I was told I can put my smaller drink in the larger cup, but they won't give me, or sell to me, more milk! I asked several times if this was a joke. I was told I could not buy more milk because it's not a drink on the menu. Ok Trace.

Good beer and the brewery is a great place to enjoy a couple drinks with friends, but the time waiting to get a refill when multiple people are ordering carmel oatmeal, mocha javas with double foam is well worth considering other breweries.

This place, Trace Brewing, is very good business. I do not drink the alcohols, but I do visit to drink the coffee. Mashallah, very good coffee. Like better than Kuzeen Bachareemat's coffee in downtown Almaty and he been in business since Makhambet Utemisuly brought the coffee bean to the country. Very empathetic people. Thank you.
