Hi. I tried filling out the form online but it isn't working. Anyways you guys have been a longstanding part of my dining out world since you opened your waterworks specific location. However things have been going downhill. Last night was the worst. The bathrooms are often pretty dirty however I look past it as the service and food is so good. Last night we waited over 38 minutes for our food. The fries were so overcooked you could barely eat them. And the bread was awful!!!! The absolute worst. I don't know what's going on but we definitely would not be back if this is the new normal. And if it was our first time we surely wouldn't return. Had we known there was a 40 min wait for food or that the bread was not the normal we would of gone somewhere else. I even asked what was up with the bread and they said it was an issue with the supplier. I don't know if this will help anyone at all. However as a customer that has been going here since the first year and the cool tie dye shirts I would hope someone is doing something to bring back what was once awesome service and food. We didn't even finish our food or bring it home it was so gross. I can't tell you the number of friends and business colleagues I've brought to Uncle Sam's for the amazing sandwiches and atmosphere. Last night was truly a massive red flag and has me considering finding a new go to spot.

Unfortunately, I am unable to give a review on the taste or quality of the food as my experience ordering over the phone for pick up was one of the worst I’ve ever had. I called around 8:10 pm when they close at 9. I was out on hold for 15 minutes (until 8:25 and could hear a loud personal conversation among who I can only assume were employees), I was eventually greeted with a very annoyed “hello” and I replied I would like to make an order for pick up but was hung up on. I called back giving her the benefit of the doubt, when she answered she immediately screamed that I would have to be there by 8:30. No greeting or anything, and I called from a different number so there is no way she knew it was the same customer. We eventually agreed on 8:45 as I was eager to try this highly talked about sandwich joint. I start to order and she starts to get very aggressive and screamed at me only a minute into giving my order because I was confused about the menu and asked one question. I eventually had to end the phone call because I knew I wasn’t going to eat food by someone who was so outwardly angered by me. Mind you this phone call was over a half an hour before they close. I wasn’t asking the establishment to stay open later than 9. It was established it would take longer for me to get there than for them to make the food, which still would have been at least 10 minutes before closing. I probably won’t ever try this restaurant, unless they can manage to hire people who aren’t blatantly intimidating.

As of today, May 10th at 7:37, if you see this review, PLEASE don't come to eat here because the service is SO bad and slow and the people working look like they don't care and you just hear them laugh while customers are just waiting and waiting and they don't even apologize to you for taking forever to get their orders.

Better than subway.

I ordered a cheesecake and Italian. It was two barely 10 inches of subs for $25. Cheesecake was above average but not $25 dollars worth of food. Teasted ok, just not worth that much, in my opinion. Wint be back for those prices. That's why I rated it low.

Foods great but they have stupid policies on fries. Cant get free fries if you get it to go without paying. Got there at 8:20. Said take out only. Wouldn’t include fries. Just always say you’re eating in and then take it to go.

Great subs overall! Has a great fish sandwich during Fridays in Lent.

Rude staff and the manager let's it happen. If you like to get talked down to when ordering your food and asking for a drink, this is the place for you.
