I don't understand how this place has high rating! we went there on a saturday for lunch and it was empty. I asked if they have pizza slices and they said yes, after waiting for 15 minutes they gave me a slice that was obviously left over from last night which they put a little extra cheese on top (which wasn't fully melted) and gave it to me! we also ordered burger and a sandwich which both were very unsatisfactory. the burger patty was smaller than mc donald 1$ menu item. the sandwich was the same way a little meat with some lettuce!

I grew up around the original place I went to Peabody high school and what I just experienced today was a travesty. Everything I ordered was 99% bread no cheese etc, the taste was like gas station pizza and I had no idea a Chinese family took over. The hoagie was equivalent to steak um meat It is terrible do not go there you will regret it trust me.

There were several things wrong with this order. I ordered a fish SANDWICH with wheat bread. When I got my SANDWICH it came on what looked similar to a hamburger buns. I looked at it, picked it up and looked at it. I said this is not wheat bread. It's a white bun. I said to myself oh well, and continued to look the SANDWICH over. It came with onions, pickles, tomatoes and lettuce. It also had a red sauce on it. I didn't ask for anything on my SANDWICH. And noted to myself that on the menu board at the top of the cashiers station there are no comments on what is on anything. I tasted the sandwich. The red sauce was hot and spicy. I proceeded to scrap the red sauce off. It contained red specks which is little hot peppers. I cannot eat hot and spices foods. Especially red peppers. I have chronic acid reflux. Eating this can make me become very ill. So I took the food up to the counter and talked to a tall young Asian man. I explained to him I can't eat the sauce on the sandwich because I have chronic acid reflux and this could send me to the hospital. He reluctantly took the sandwich back and said ok. He brought the sandwich back out with tarter sauce packets. He later came back and told me to look at the menu next time, because this could cause serious problems health wise like food allergies. I became offended. He told me you are angry. I told him yes I am, you're making this my fault. He said no. Usually what's on the sandwich is posted I said to him. He shook his head no. A couple of times as we went back and forth. To make a long story short, when I got home I looked at the menu. And saw what I was given was a fish hoagie and not a fish sandwich. I was charged for a fish sandwich. So I should receive a apology because the error was theirs and not mine. This was my first time ordering a fish sandwich and will be my last.

I just had breakfast here, and everything was so amazing that the next I'm coming to the area, I will withdraw $20 from a nearby ATM and leave it all as a tip.
I got the steak, egg, and cheese sandwich on wheat bread, French toast, and coffee. Nothing especially fancy, but still it was good! The server also gave me the most genuinely friendly "Thanks for visiting with us" smile that I have ever seen on a good service worker. Little things like that go a long way with me.
Like I said, the food isn't artisan or anything, but it was enjoyable in its simplicity. The bread from which the sandwich and French toast was made is of the less expensive pre-sliced kind you might find in a grocery store. (Not artisan like brioche or thick Texas toast or multigrain or anything.) The steak on the sandwich was of the type you get on a McDonald's steak, egg, and cheese bagel. I *will* say, however, that the egg was PERFECT: not over-cooked or rubbery, like the yolk had just set. Wonderful!
The atmosphere is meh, but what do you expect from a Home Depot parking lot restaurant? Sometimes you just want to have straightforward comfort and satisfying food. I will certainly be back.

If I can give ZERO STARS I WOILD Highly do not recommend since under new management. Waited an hour for a personal pizza and burger. The young man working the register got mad with me because he got my order wrong. Argued me down screaming I’m a liar about just wanting cheese on burger. Made me feel very uncomfortable with his very aggressive tone after I spent my money with this business. Highly disappointed!!!
If you come here, please make sure they are ready to serve you. I had to wait for several mins at the counter and nobodies came to me. No apologies as I told that I leave.I wish it's not my last visit but it's more possible to be.

Went there last weekend for I think the 2nd time since new ownership. Everything was honestly great - the pizza was very good and so was the steak hoagie - service was great as well. Two questions tho: did the old Vento's only serve Sicilian and did the old steak hoagie have the special sauce on it? Thanks to anyone who remembers and can let me know

Not the Ventos I new for years. I don't like leaving negative reviews but I went into Ventos for many, many years. Square pizza and cheeseburgers not the same. I was happy the gentleman that worked there still had his job. I probably won't return. Sad to say.

I ordered med pizza and wings my order was canceled without explanation and money taken out of my account. The phone number they gave to call isn't a valid number had to call bank and request a refund. Worst experience I ever had with a order. Be cautious ordering from them
