Arrived at Pittsburgh Airport expecting we have to enjoy a glass of good wine, Unimpressed by the overpriced wine list the expensive leather bound wine directory with a few selection of wines so I just had to order the house white Chardonnay very disappointed, normally a house wine is of a high standard and can be reliable. Food was not available on the this day, Sadly, didn’t finish the wine and I pride myself on having a pretty good understanding of wine. They need to chop the game and be more accessible to more people.

Too bad, it wasn’t smoking busy but could not get service. Finally sat down and got a glass of wine but no contact with my server again. Asked for a glass of water with my wine and would have thought I asked for the world to change direction. Not good. Bummer.

Amber is incredible! I shared with her my desired tasting notes and she selected the PERFECT wine! She is knowledgeable and enjoyable to be around! And Vino Volo here never disappoints. It is always highlight of my travels when I stop here. Arrive early and get a seat at the bar or one of the cozy tables, and prepare to enjoy!

First I would like to say that the food was delicious! Where is turns sour is when I ordered a glass of Brecca & received a glass with 3/4 wine & 1/4 of sediment. I asked the waitress if I could have a different glass without sediment & she said it’s an unfiltered wine & to expect the same from the next glass… Wow. ? I asked her for the Long Meadow Cab instead, which was much better. When I was done, she brought me my check with a $10 fee for “tasting “ the wine with sediment! Really?!?!

My server, Amber was an absolute pleasure. She made an exception when the kitchen was closed & it was greatly appreciated. I wish the kitchen didn’t close so early. The kitchen closes at 5:30?
