Waffles in Pittsburgh, PA

“This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)“

“Amazing waiter service. Even just 2 people, they run it smoothly. They food are little pricy with nyc portion, not family style. But the food is family style, they are homemade delicious. You must try the traditional Tyrish coffee. it is very strong and unfiltered.“

“Can I give it 10 stars? I wish! I had one of the best things I've ever eaten at Mango Mango - it was a special they have right now, it's like a mango snow. I love mangos and I loved these desserts! My husband had one with coconut and red beans and he loved it as well. Plus, it's a gorgeous little spot, perfect for a nice dessert with friends, with very kind staff.“

“This place is amazing, local and they have very unique handmade flavor offerings that my family loves. I’m giving them four stars after multiple times driving across town, with excited children only to be greeted with a paper on the window explaining some special circumstances for which they have to be closed for the day. If only they would update their hours online.“

“We had the most awesome crepes and frappes at Treats and Beans on Myeran Ave in Oakland. The staff was fantastic and so friendly. Totally reccomend to anyone that has a sweet tooth!!!“

“There were more drinks and toppings than in Japan. In particular, there are 13 types of toppings, and if you ask the staff, they will let you sample them. The clerk was kind and understood my poor English. Also, orders are placed from a terminal, so it doesn't matter if you don't speak English. It's located on a street lined with many shops, so if you're in Pittsburgh, be sure to check it out!“

Was met at the counter with the sweetest woman who was ready to answer all my questions and give me recommendations!
The real 🌟 of the show was the breakfast sandwich! I got their Chatty Patty- it was every bit savory and sweet.
The best waffle in my opinion was the swirly sin!
I got the iced Cookie Monster foam party from the lady’s recommendation and it did not disappoint!

“We came to this location for our first time experience and Patrick was our server. We had the BEST breakfast experience!!!!!! Patrick was absolutely amazing, even with how insanely busy the place was he was tentatively checking in on us, being helpful, and overall just an AWESOME server. Food was absolutely lovely as well and we were in and out very quickly. We would highly recommend dining here :)“
