The food is so good and the service is awesome! You won’t be disappointed!

Their Chicago dog is amazing. I come into town once a year for a conference and make sure to go there at least once.

They're a bit difficult to find now (at least for non-locals like me) as they're in the tunnel connecting the US steel tower to the subway station. You can go into the tower and take the escalator down to the tunnel or you can come from the subway station and go down a flight of stairs towards the steel tower. The location is safer than the previous one, so that is an upgrade. There are also a bunch of tables to sit down and eat, which was not available at the previous location.

Update 10/22/24: same great dog and fries, in a new harder to find location, from the standpoint of an "out of tower". :-) As always worth the visit. Fast and friendly staff. If you are looking for this place ride the escalators down to the triangle concourse.

Kind of bummed they aren't in the old location. There was a certain charm stepping back in time to a small shop like that. But I appreciate their concern for their customers and employees in staying there.

Best all beef hot dogs in town! Their fish sandwich is huge with excellent fish. For a real treat, try their fish in a dish with their tarter sauce. It is amazing!

How can I express my love for wiener world? Let me count the ways.

First of all, it is so wonderful to see business owners being deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of their business Denny and Melody are fantastic and clearly care deeply about both their employees and the community they serve. They are friendly and recognize many customers that come to visit, and their future plans for wiener World clearly take into account what the public wants.

Secondly, the food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. It's my favorite go to lunch spot downtown and I can't wait for them to keep increasing their menu options at the new location.

Just... just go to weiner world. Do it.

Sad, this is my favorite place to eat in all of downtown Pittsburgh… Just walked eight blocks to go to their new location at the USS… made my way down to the basement and arrived 20 minutes before closing time and they have already closed up shop.

Disappointing. Maybe running a business this way is the reason they can’t afford rent at their old location anymore. Hard to make profits when you turn away customers.

Also, this was a common problem at your old location. The food is no longer worth your intermittently decent service or lax business hours. Good riddance.*

Besides the weiners, which are great, you can get salads, wraps, hoagies, sandwiches and fries. Love that they are in the Tower now. Will love it even more next January! The people are great and know how to run a business and keep your customers happy. Looking at you IVP hahaha!

The great food and service that I've long been accustomed to have moved to the new location along with the wonderful owners and employees.

Wiener World is far more than a hot dog shop. They've got a wide ranging menu and their fish sandwiches can't be beat.

The absolute worst experience I've ever dealt with. First let's start with the area. The immediate area is surrounded by the library and a bus stop where people do drugs and even nod out. This is important bc the staffs attitude reflects it's surroundings. Meaning they're rude due to dealing with the nonsense that comes with all of that.My personal experience on my first time ever being there was horrendous.FoodI got a single hotdog that was almost $7 Chile meat and cheese and they put the hotdog into the styrofoam upside down. Leaving the toppings smeared to the container.When I pointed this out and asked for another one since it was ruined they treated me like I was a drug addict trying to finesse. (Hotdog wasnt even ate from) They accused me of purposely sabotaging the dog and admitted no wrong.When the cheese and meet was clearly smeared on the bottom of the container. I wasn't even trying to get money back but get another dog. I gave them the messed up one.I was accused, gaslit and insinuated/treated like a criminal and called names by the owner.All over a mistake they madeI spat at the building and it's business and declared I'll never go there again.Absolute disgusting place there's no chairs or anything to sit at because they're trying to discourage the DRUG ADDICTS and HOMELESS from entering since the area is so infested with (unsavory individuals)Don't waste your time, or money. You also won't find parking.

Solid hot dog joint with thick juicy weens. Don't expect anything fancy or exciting, it's just quality food made by people who may or may not provide good customer service depending on their vibe that day. I will be returning in the future ?

Just watched them disrespect a paying customer because the cook and cashier had a miscommunication. The concerned woman spoke with who apparently is the owner and she was met with defense and he yelled “I’ve been working with them for 15 years. This is a stellar establishment & I’m acknowledging the lack of respect and decency I watched a patron endure.Edited to add, I did not speak with you. I witnessed your treatment from afar. No need to apologize when your actions are fully in line with the standard of service received today. Good day & I wish you all the best! Hospitality is your industry and you normally do a better job than today.
