I saw a comment here that talked about a chemical flavor in the wings. I ordered wingstop 2 weeks ago and got kind of sick with a very strange taste in my mouth I’d never had before. Thought I was sick. I ordered it again today, and immediately I have the same taste in my mouth again. I quit eating the 15 wings I ordered. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT order wings here. I don’t know what they’re doing behind the scenes but there is definitely something off about the taste of the wet sauces. it’s a metallic chemical throbbing taste that will not go away. I had it the next day as well. Very very odd. It isn’t healthy anyway. They import chicken from out of the country and I’ve heard before that the celebrity who endorses Wingstop has intentionally made it addictive and unhealthy. I can’t imagine what else. I’m going to contact the manager here, but I highly doubt there will be honesty. I’ve had other locations same exact sauces and wings and didn’t have a sickening taste to them.

First visit the food was good portions I got the Mango 🥭 habanero wings which were spicy 🔥 and I love spicy seasoned food not just hot. I attendant kind of warned me as I didn't look on the hotness scale. But the wing ding portions were big and and the New Orleans fries were good to tune up to . Nice size cup for soda illl be back!

So for my birthday my hubby and I decided to try out the newly opened Wingstop in East Liberty. I couldn't wait to try them out but we were definitely underwhelmed to say the least. The staff was friendly and although there was a slight communication barrier that didn't bother me too much. I ordered a 10 piece garlic parmesan wings and he ordered a 10 piece of hawaiian wings. There was not enough sauce on either of the wings and they lacked in flavor. I hate bland chicken and when we got home we each tried a bite of the wings and decided to add more garlic and sauce to the wings. That's sad when you have to add more flavor to the meal you paid for. I honestly don't know if I'd go back to try other flavors especially if I know for a fact I can make wings better at home. It's absolutely a shame considering Wingstop is such a popular franchise, I guess it doesn't apply to this location. If you're like me and you value flavorful wings this might not be the place for you.

It was attempted to be executed well, but there’s something MAJORLY wrong. My wings were cooked decently (not cooked long enough but decently); the flavor of the sauces were good, But something was wrong with the wings tossed in wet sauces. I can tell that the employees mixed up or prepared the wet sauces somewhere or inside of a container that still had cleaning product residue in it. Every single one of my wet sauces tasted like a cleaning product. The only thing that did not taste like a cleaning product was the wings that were tossed in a dry rub and my fries that were fried. Super huge mistake. It tainted all of my meat and I was afraid that I would become ill. I was so ready to say Wing Stop is better than BWW, but BWW would never play with my health like this. 1am or not, it shouldn’t have happened. Don’t stay open until 2am if you can’t deliver consistency throughout business hours. This was something extremely avoidable, and extremely negligent.

Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend
I was really looking forward to trying Wingstop at East Liberty, but unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I ordered 40 wings, but when I got home, I found only 10 in my bag. When I called the store to resolve the issue, I was met with rude and unprofessional behavior – the staff was yelling over the phone and showed no accountability for the mistake.
To make matters worse, the food I did receive was cold and lacked flavor, despite the fact that I live just 8 minutes away. I spent $70 for a meal for my kids, and the inconvenience and poor service left me extremely disappointed. I simply don’t understand how a location can overlook the basics of customer service, especially when it involves an order this size.
I’ve always had a great experience at other Wingstop locations, but after this, I’ll be avoiding this one at all costs. The combination of bad food, poor service, and lack of accountability has completely turned me off.
Unfortunately, this location has not lived up to the Wingstop standard. I hope they can improve, but as of now, I can’t recommend it to anyone.
