We ate at Tana and experienced Ethiopian food for the very first time today with some very good friends of ours who are well versed with Ethiopian cuisine. Granted, they helped us make our ultimate dining choices, but they were quite similar to chat the waitress had suggested a few minutes before they had arrived (lol). Milonica and I ate last evening at Tana, and it was just incredible! We haven't eaten at Tana before, and I'm a bit hesitant about Ethiopian restaurants as I've been to a number around the U.S. that miss the mark. Last night, I was back in Addis Ababa! I had an excellent experience. The restaurant itself is quite attractive with Ethiopian artwork and cultural pieces places around. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. I also appreciate the plates, which are decorated with patterns and very pleasant to look at. My visit certainly made my day.
