6 Best Craft Breweries near Pittston

Susquehanna Brewing Co. Brewery • $$
635 S Main St, Pittston

“We came here for my dad's birthday and got a private tour of the brewery which was interesting and fun. The taproom is smaller but quaint and of course they brew delicious beers here. They do events, like trivia night! in the larger space where beers are brewed, which is really neat!“

Groove Brewing Brewery • $
1401 Sanderson Ave, Scranton - 9.82 miles

“Went to groove for an eclipse viewing party! Boy I never thought I would be happy that my viewing gear failed to arrive on time! We got there right before apparently, the rest of Scranton arrived.lol. I am currently on non alcoholic drinks and they had an extra dark stout that was better than Guinness! I tried the hazy IPA and it was akin to a bright shock top.My boyfriend had a couple of different ipas and liked both.. I'll definitely go back. The bartender (poor guy) had a line 20 deep and a coworker soon showed up to work along side him(they were not expecting the turn out it got packed yea!)She told us they moved to that location 14 months ago . Great vibe to the crowd . Respectable .I had a chair at the bar and enjoyed the people watching. Also another Chihuahua showed up which made my service huahua very happy.Great brew five minutes from home, pleasent hard working knowledgeable staff and cool clientele? Yes please I will be back! Ok so it clouded up but patience paid off and I caught some eclipsey glimpses. I was having so much fun I nearly forgot why I went.“

“We have visited here many times over the years but the first time here in quite some time. Great spot for the brewpub fan. The beer was excellent and lunch was delicious. We both ordered a panini and my only criticism is they used to be much bigger.“

Brickhouse Tavern Bar • $$
319 Main St, Dupont - 2.05 miles

“Dive bar? Yes. Looks like steel tipped darts there. Opens at 18:00. Pretty expensive though. $18 for a 6 Michelob ultra. Smoking allowed and encouraged. If you can't stand that stink, it's best to stay away. Not huge but doable in a pinch.“

Voodoo Brewery Co. - Scranton Brewery •
820 S Washington Ave, Scranton - 7.96 miles

“My wife and I ate here on a Friday night. Beer was great and food was great too. QR code menus worked great. Servers are dudes that are total pros and just get how to be servers at a place like this. Others have said this as well but it is the coolest place I have been in Scranton. You won’t be disappointed.“
