“Thank you for saving our trip! No one doordashed to this area while we were in the Poconos for a birthday getaway. Luckily we met a local named Bob, and his African barkless dog, Kivu who reccomended you! He said the sandwiches were great, but by the end of our trip we'd tried just about everything, and loved it! “I moved to the Long Pond area earlier this year and upon doing so I’ve tried a few different takeout restaurants but NOTHING compares to AJ’s food and customer service! From the pizza to the cheesesteak (phenomenal by the way), this place is in a league of their own! Hands down. Very kind staff as well. Owner is very personable and has even made a couple delivers to me. Highly recommend! Enough to let you know that this is the first restaurant and/or food review that I’ve ever posted. -Ryan“

“Great ice cream and snacks“

“Ate here yesterday with my parents because we were excited to see something new in our area. Being Cuban and Puerto Rican, it is nice to see familiar dishes in the area as they are not too common in the Poconos when compared to living in NJ. The portions are huge, the food is well seasoned, and the staff is friendly. We chatted with the owner for a while, and we were thankful that she has decided to make her mother in law’s recipes for the public. Again, we don’t have many options like this up here, so we drove the hour to check it out. We would go again since we enjoyed the food, and it is closer than going into NJ or NY for us. Good luck ladies! We know it’s not easy, but we are happy to have you! :)“
