“This past weekend, I had the opportunity to visit The Woods, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment my friend and I arrived, there was an undeniable sense of community. The atmosphere was peaceful, welcoming, and genuinely uplifting. Everywhere we went, it was clear how much care and pride goes into maintaining the campground. The grounds were immaculate, the trails were beautiful, the pool and jacuzzi were a perfect place to unwind, and the shower facilities were exceptionally clean. More than anything, I want to say thank you to the staff and to everyone I met during my stay. Your kindness and hospitality made a lasting impression. This may have been my very first 🏳️‍🌈 campground experience, so I don’t have anything to compare it to—but I can confidently say that every campground I visit from now on will have a high standard to live up to because of The Woods. 10/10. Highly recommended. 💯🙏💚“

“We have been here 4 or 5 times the past few months while camping in the area. Fantastic spot to sit and enjoy company and some cocktails. The drinks and the food are terrific and the vibe is relaxing! The bourbon is great and the fact that they are veteran owned... We will always make this a place to come to when nearby.“

“It’s my first time here. The place is nice, with unique decorations unlike a typical bar. The beer menu is displayed on the wall, and the cocktail menu is on paper. It’s small but cool. You’ll need to find street parking nearby. A great spot to grab a beer and try different flavors!“

“My boyfriend and I came to Jim Thorpe for my 35th Birthday and this was one of the top things we wanted to do. The space was super friendly and easy going. The staff was helpful in picking out our flight and charcuterie board. I’m not a wine drinker so I can’t really comment on the tastes even though I tried the Silver Fox, Blueberry, Elderflower wines and Elderberry Cider. They did all taste different, as described and we chose to get a bottle for some friends. What we got was definitely worth the price and the presentation and experience was a lot of fun for us.“

“Lovely shop, immaculate, cozy & great customer service! The donuts were absolutely delicious, plump & well filled! We ordered 6 & you get a free breakfast sandwich when ordering 6 , how cool is that. Pistachio Cheesecake topped with pink icing, not to sweet , Pistachios on top & a fabulous cheesecake pistachio filling, My favorite , It was so big , could only eat half! My daughter got the Boston creme, it was so creamy & delicious. Then we order the Pistachio Lattes , so good Highly recommend“

We were introduced to the orange cosmopolitan that was delicious! Then she made me a hot apple cider with fireball with a cinnamon stick! It was so good... Just what I needed to warm up ... “I recently visited the town of Jim Thorpe with a good friend of mine. It happened to be my birthday so we stopped by Woods Ice Cream. They got me a peanut butter sundae. I've gotta say it's prob one of the best and most delicious sundae's I've ever had in my life. And I'm not even exaggerating. Typing this out just made me remember the taste and my mouth just watered lol. And I can't forget to mention the service was great as well. I highly recommend stopping by this cute little town and getting yourself some ice cream from there.“

“Curiosities Coffee and Ice-Cream is nestled inside the Douglas House marketplace.

It is a very quirky, cosy and fragrant coffee shop. The store is laden with fascinating trifles and novelties.

A wide selection of ice-cream flavors with a lot of flavored syrups and options for adding onto your coffee.

The coffee itself is very good and well brewed. I loved my large Cappuccino with white chocolate so much that I had to get a second cup.

We had the Mango, Tiramisu, Fudge brownie cookie dough ice-cream and the Vanilla Shake and none of them was a letdown or loved any less than the other!“

“Stopped in for a late lunch. We ate in the outdoor bar area because the dining area had a 20 minute wait. Only the outdoor area was open.
The bar area offered the full menu. The area was clean and although the bar area was very busy the bartender was excellent. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name. She took our order quickly and the food was delivered promptly and as ordered.

We had the wedge salad, the open faced turkey sandwich and the chicken parm sandwich. Everything was tasty but the chicken parm sandwich was a bit dry. Maybe order extra sauce on the side.

I highly recommend Molly Maguire's for a nice meal at a decent price.“

“Last night was our first time at Marion Hose Bar and it was a wonderful experience! Our waiter Robert was phenomenal, he went above and beyond. The food was delicious, the drinks even better ;) 100% recommend!“

“The hot and sour soup we ordered yesterday was excellent! It had numerous interesting bits of vegetables, tofu, chicken, and was flavored and spiced just right. The one thing that would bring it closer to my personal preference is if it had a little less thickener. I'm looking forward to our next order.“

“Pizza was some of the best I've ever had. But too listen to the waitress suck snot and see her cough all over everything she faced make it a little hard to really enjoy it. Fix this. She was very polite, but the snot my gosh. Blow your nose for gosh sakes. Plenty of napkins around. Kudos for the guys in the back taking in the delivery. Great job.“

“I really enjoyed this cute little Harry Potter / spooky themed coffee shop! I got one of their specialty lattes, the mandrake maple latte, iced with oatmilk. They also had two different types of savory vegan scones, cheddar jalapeño or pesto mozzarella! I snagged a vegan cookie at the register to take to-go and eat on my drive back home from the Jim Thorpe area.
