First time dining here, the food and service were amazing. Our server, Noah, was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in the area.
The overall ambiance was nice - fireplace in the middle of the restaurant was nice. It was not very busy - it was the middle of the week. Not that they can help it, we were a bit turned off by a patron who was eating alone watching (loudly) you tube videos or something on his phone his entire meal. We then had a couple site near us that answered their phone and were on facetime with another person for about 20 minutes. Again, not the restaurants fault - but when you are out at a nice restaurant where you are paying a higher dollar, people should clearly mind manners. I would expect that at Applebees or McDonalds - not a steakhouse. If you need to take a call, step outside. I ordered a particular glass of wine. When they brought it over, it almost tasted too acidic - like it had been opened for a while. When i questioned, the waitress brought a bartender over who indicated that it wasn't what I ordered because they "were told" to substitute with another wine. If you know anything about wine, different regions create different tastes. The "sub" wasn't from the same region - which is why it tasted totally different. They did (supposedly) bring me the glass that I wanted when I indicated what I ordered is what i wanted, although I'm still not convinced. Why would you sub a wine if you had the one I wanted in stock? When my steak came out, it was super rare , despite my order of medium. They did take it back - which was then put under a broiler which charred a bit of the outside of the steak, but did bring the internal temp up. My husband's was cooked to his liking. It was our anniversary and they offered complimentary champagne - but that did so at the end of the meal. You would think they would have started with that. Overall, I don't have to go back. For the money, it was not particularly worth it my opinion.
Waitress was all over the place, talking so loud the entire room knew what ordered how embarrassing. Room was freezing no heat. Bread was so hard I couldn't cut it with the knife. Ordered topping on steak it was missed. Felt rushed and not valued. Dress code was not followed people wearing offensive clothes. Value of restaurant went way down. Very disappointing.
Our server was excellent. Very attentive. And the food was delicious From the appetizer through the dessert
Service and food were excellent. Waiter Shawn was excellent! Wish there were more affordable options.
An excellent place for great steak, but being attached to a water park resort leads to the intrusion of children into an otherwise classy establishment. It would be great if there was an option for seating in a section with no children. The piano bar is excellent, and is a child free area but without the food, but even then there are the interruptions when the children inevitably burst into the bar and make noise before being kicked out.
📍 Double Cut Steak House – Kalahari Resort, Poconos, PA If you're ever dining here, do yourself a favor and ask for Daniel as your server — he's one of the best we've had in a long time! 👏 We ordered our meal course by course — appetizer first, then salad, then our main — and he absolutely nailed every detail. Not only did he get everything in perfect order, but he even split our salad without being asked. That's the kind of attention to detail and service that makes a night out special. The food? Absolutely amazing. The service? Even better. 🍸🥩 Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ #DoubleCutSteakHouse #KalahariResort #PoconosDining #DateNight #LuciaAndGlynn #FoodieFind
Great experience. We got the lamb. It was soft and delicious. The ambiance was great. Our server was amazing. The red piano is next door and it brings great vibes.
This was our first time there and we loved it. The place definitely looked upscale and was kid friendly at the same time so we were able to enjoy a nice dinner with them. I was very happy with my filet mignon. I did have to leave early bc my one son who had been up almost all night the night before was very cranky so I did not get to stay for dessert but my husband and other son did and I really appreciate them singing happy birthday to him. The service was great. We really liked our waitor as he was very friendly and on top of everything. I will definitely come back.
My lady Victoria was an excellent waitress, her skills were over the top. She even brought back up for birthday singing. The food was amazing and the Second Lady ask to cut the prime rib to make sure it was cooked to perfection. Overall 5 stars restaurant!!!!

We had a wonderful dining experience here. The highlight was the excellent service from our server, Dianne, who made the evening especially enjoyable. The food was on the pricier side, but overall it was very good.
We ordered the Steak, Chilean Seabass, and the Scallops. While the food wasn’t perfect, the flavors were amazing - I’d rate it around 4.5/5. For dessert, we tried the Key Lime Pie, which was a bit too sweet for one person but still delicious, and the Sundae Bar, which was both fun and tasty. Dianne’s friendly service made our dessert experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, a great experience with memorable service and flavorful dishes.

The restaurant is good and has nice atmosphere. However the reservation system is not good. Tried to book a table for 5 one day ahead of time but the system showed no availability except for seating at the bar. When we arrived, the place was 90% empty and we just got a table with no issue. Food was decent. The porterhouse was average being this is a steakhouse. Expected a bit more. The kids pasta and Mac and cheese was bland.
