Double Cut Steak House

Normally a good experience, but they were having an off night. Ribeye was small, not well crusted, and very rare (despite ordering medium rare). Could have gotten a better steak at The Outback Steakhouse. Hanging bacon was cold. Food came out within minutes of ordering, making me feel as if everything was premade. Will take a break from Double Cut for awhile.

Kristen was our waitress and she made our stay extra special. We had two adults and three children. We felt heard and cared for. She was very personable and I appreciated that she wasn't rushing us and allowed us to get the full experience. She made great suggestions and took care of all of our needs. My family and I don't go out often, so when we do it means alot. We got the porter house and the lamb. It was delicious. Highly recommend. The dumplings were not worth the money. I don't recommend. The crab in the California roll was blue crab. Worth it. Cheesecake was average but came free for birthday so no complaints there. Overall satisfied and would come back with family or friends. 🧡

We dined for our anniversary and it was a good experience! We've been here before; and the quality of the food is still consistently good. Our server was outstanding! The only negative is the price, however, everything is expensive. Well continue to come for special occasions.

Restaurant is beautiful but ambiance ruined by people talking on phone and crying children. Our server was amazing he even did some card magic tricks for us! The kids loved the sundae bar that they bring to your table. The food was very good except for the lobster tail- it was dry and almost flavorless. The king crab was good but not worth the price. All the steaks were delicious as was the Parmesan risotto special. Love that they have a kids menu.

Excellent dinner! Filet mignon was perfect. I highly recommend the brussel sprouts. Service was spectacular. Dinner done right.

The overall experience was underwhelming. The ambience (seating, cutlery) was a big let down..

There may be an understaffing issue. Though the staff was friendly it took us over an hour to get our meal. Then nearly 45 to get the bill. Our waiter was MIA. Food was salty and meat tough.

Overall the price for the quality of food is not appropriate. Our steaks were significantly overcooked (ordered medium, received well-done). The sea bass entree was too salty to eat and lacked any identifiable texture. Even the roasted onion served with the steaks weren't cooked enough to actually eat. It was mostly a whole raw onion. We would have sent some plates back but it took about an hour to be served. Overall, our dinner for 6 took 2 1/2 hours and we didn't even order appetizers and ordered our dessert to go. Luckily the ambience was nice. But we didn't feel that the value was enough for us to return.

My family was staying at Kalahari. We decided to have dinner at Double Cut Steak House on 11-10-24. We were very fortunate to have Kristen as our server. She took excellent care of our table . She made sure we had everything we needed. She made the whole dinning experience at Double Cut that much better. Kristen was probably one of the best servers we ever had . Thank you Kristen.

Everything was incredible!!! We started with calamari and truffle fries. Had one of the best ribeye steaks I have had and I'm a pretty tough critic. For dessert we had a cheesecake that was light, creamy, and so flavorful.

Best of all was the service from our waitress Nina!!! She was extremely attentive, sweet, patient with the kids, and very helpful/knowledgeable of the menu.

Absolutely will be back!!!

Luke was an excellent server. Good recommendations and patient with my family. The smoking old fashioned cocktail was good and the Porterhouse steak was very good

After 6 visits we just had the best service we have ever had. Nina was great from start to finish. Shawn's magic skills are exceptional and I would assume he'll be a professional soon.
