This is a beautiful place, managed by professionals who take everything they do seriously. there isn't a single negative aspect. Joel and his staff provide a warm and welcoming environment. We dance here regularly. The DJ is terrific, the food is great, and we highly recommend The Sunnybrook Ballroom

I have been to sunnybrook and Soul Joel's DOZENS of times and always had a welcoming and great time there... the management has always been understanding..I was at a comedy show there and there was a well behaved baby who the comic made jokes about bc he just had a baby and there was no issue what so ever. Sad someone is trying to bring this place down that they work so hard for ALL guests to have a great time!

We have visited the The Sunnybrook Ballroom many times over the past year for so for many different events. The children's events (character events, and Kids Dance Party) are a great time for kids! They really have a blast with all the dancing and games! The adult events, including the comedy show, Adult Prom, 90s/00s Hip Hop, and White Party were also a blast for us. Sunnybrook gives us a great affordable place that is close to home to have fun again in so many different ways! Some with kids, some without. Can't forget how great the food is at Gatsby's too! We have had nothing but great experiences there and with the owner! Thank you for such a great venue! We will be back again and again!

I must say this venue is absolutely beautiful!!! Me and my husband attended a wedding there in the ballroom. We live in NJ and traveled quite far. The room was stunning, the food was fabulous! Simply every waiter/waitress/bartender we spoke to were polite and seemed like they loved working there. Anyway I see now they do all kinds of weekend shows and my husband and I will be attending some of them in the near future!!
Have only had great experiences at Sunnybrook. I am mobility impaired and am always made to feel welcome and comfortable. I recommend this place wholeheartedly!

I witnessed a manager/possibly owner publicly embarrass a mother during intermission for simply letting her son get some steam out. It was honestly crazy to watch. The child was not endangering anyone, that is laughable. The owner of this establishment is now acting like a teenager online, shaming this mother even more for speaking her truth. Guests are allowed to share their stories and I think that as a business owner, you should take these opinions and try to use them to better your establishment. I saw it happen. It was aggressive and unnecessary, especially because the child was well behaved the whole first half of the show. Just wanted to get some energy out. Do better.
