Food was delicious and generous portion as well!
OMG! My daughter recommended Uptown Flavors and I ordered the fried whiting, potato salad, macaroni and cheese and collard greens! I enjoyed everything — especially the collard greens that have a hint of spicy to them. The young men were very courteous and made suggestions on what to get the next time! This was good old fashion soul food and I recommend you try this place for a taste of home 🏠
I recently ate at an amazing restaurant and had the best lamb burger with shrimp! The lamb was super juicy and full of flavor, and the shrimp on top made it even better. Every bite was delicious. The service was great, and the place had a cozy vibe. I’ll definitely be going back for more. If you're looking for a tasty meal, this is the spot!

The establishment was great with great prices and great portions. Fried whiting platter came with two sides of choice such as mac and cheese, mac, yams, collard greens, green beans or chicken wings. The honey butter corn bread was moist and tasty, soft and fluffy. Chicken was extra crispy, salmon was perfectly seasoned and flavorful, grilled salmon and yellow rice were very good. The mac was super flavorful and cheesy, the yams were sweet and not mushy. All food was fresh and hot, steaming hot, and the presentation was perfect. Service was always excellent, the owner was nice and welcoming, the gentleman said the customer would be back and the owner care about making customers happy. Phone orders were taken, the wait was short, the meal was freshly made to order. Portion size was perfect and the flavor was very good. The food location in the Pottstown area was a great location, worth every penny, and the brothers at this establishment were proud.
