“I've been buying icream cakes here for birthdays for over 30 years and they are always the best. First it was daughters now it's grandkids. These cakes travel to other states because they are in demand! This year a granddaughter asked for a cupcake ice-cream cake. I put the request out there and the wish, though not on the menu, was granted. I couldn't be more pleased. These guys are the best and I highly recommend getting your desert cakes there!!!“

Not only was she a master at crafting the perfect ice concoction, but her friendly demeanor and infectious smile made the whole experience truly memorable. She even posed for a picture with me, adding an extra dash of superhero flair to my Rita's adventure. Thanks for being chill, Allison. Whether you're a local looking for a sweet escape or a crime fighter patrolling the hustling and bustling Lancaster Ave, Rita's Italian Ice is a must-visit destination. “We stumbled upon this restaurant waiting to see Reading Phillies game . Fell in love as soon as we went in , being from NE Philly loved the Philly decorations. Next up the food it was delicious and filling . Staff very personable , owner loved chatting up Philly . We truly will be back and pass the wird to our Philly families .“

“The ice cream is fabulous, the girl working at about 845 this evening could use some customer service training. Not even an attempt at being friendly or courteous. Even rolling her eyes when I upsized my girlfriend's ice cream. Very short responses to just get us out. No toppings offered. Not quite rude, but definitely not welcoming or friendly in any way. I'll be back for the ice cream, hopefully the service will meet the same expectations that the ice cream does when I return.“

“So good! I got the Churro cheesecake crepe and it was delicious. They let the kids sample the ice cream to find the flavor they wanted and the staff was friendly. The menu and ice cream flavors are only written in Spanish though... but they do have pictures so you can see what the items are.“
