We picked this place as a last minute trip for a show in Reading. We were not disappointed! Our server was wonderful( sorry cant remember her name), very attentive and super efficient. The drinks were wonderful!! The food was so delicious!! I ordered the flounder and it was very flavorful but also very spicy, it had black pepper flakes on it which I didnt expect, and I dont do spicy so beware, but scraped them off. My husband had the short ribs and omg they were melt in your mouth delicious!! The atmosphere was super cozy! If we are ever back in Reading we def would visit again!

Pure excellence from start to finish. The vibe of the place is superb. It's artsy and eclectic, hopping with people. The staff are phenomenal. Our server, Missy, was truly great. We started with the foccacia ($2.75 for 4 pieces) and it was INCREDIBLE. My cocktail was beautifully done and only $12. The salads that accompany the entree are shockingly good; all in house made dressings. My husband had the fettuccine alfredo with chicken. Homemade pasta and wonderful! I had the Casuela Roast of Cape May Scallops...oh my gosh, what a flavor profile! We finished with the creme brulee; fantastic flavor! From the environment to the experience to the food, we absolutely recommend this wonderful place!

The visit took over two and a half hours. The food came out at random times and intervals, everyone ate at different times as a result. Our service was very bad, inattentive and extremely slow. The food was nothing particularly special. The menu looks good but the actual execution left much to be desired; it was quite bland. Just overall an extremely disappointing experience. The restaurant seemed largely unprepared for a planned, annual event.

What a wonderful evening we had! We came here for my wife’s birthday and she loved everything! From the drinks to the entrees and everything in between, nothing was out of place.
Highly recommend the squash with crab soup, the beet salad with the feta cheese and the filet or scallops. In terms of the dessert you HAVE to try the coconut layer cake or the vanilla bean crème brûlée.
Huge shout out to Shannon V for being a wonderful server! Always attentive, super helpful, and just overall really friendly! Also, thanks to Judy for coming out and checking on us after our entrees, certainly made for a welcoming feel.

Beef was raw. Asked for med rare. Not rare . Service was the worse we’ve had in the last 35 different restaurants we’ve been to. Got our 1st drink 30 min after we sat down. Got our dinner an hour after we sat down, had to flag our waitress down for anything. She was by the far the worse waitress we’ve encountered in the last 20 years. Food seemed good. Just raw and took forever. It was not even busy. Will never consider this place again.

Judy’s on Cherry is an absolute gem in Reading! The food is beyond incredible — globally inspired with some Cuban-influenced dishes that taste like Cuba in its golden era. Rich, soulful, unforgettable flavor. You can tell this is an owner-involved business — the pride, care, and love show in every detail.
The service is fast and super friendly, and the atmosphere is warm, stylish, and cozy. The playlist? Chef’s kiss. Whoever curates the music deserves an award — it sets the perfect tone without being overpowering.
This place is a full-on experience — not just a meal. If you’re in Berks County and haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and go. You’ll be planning your next visit before dessert hits the table. ✨

We went here on Saturday. Everyone was nice when we arrived. We ordered three appetizers, only one was good. With the menu I didn't see anything that I wanted to order. I did order a side and a salad. The salad tasted very bitter. I ordered a slice of cake which sat on the side because my waiter never came back to give it to me. After 5 minutes of the cake just sitting there, finally another waiter brought it over after he passed it several times. The cake was dry and just tasted ok This restaurant isn't for me. There also shouldn't be flies flying around.

It’s been years since I’ve had dinner here, and it makes me incredibly happy that the quality and taste has remained consistent. This is one of the few places in the area where the food has its own distinct, delicious personality. Share the apps. All of them.

Phenomenal food with such a creative, modern, & contemporary vibe. A blue & yellow theme with modern artwork available for purchase.
The food, cocktails, & dessert will not disappoint. The swordfish recommended by Judy was cooked perfectly. The blueberry pie was very unique & one of a kind. 10/10 experience.
The restrooms are another creative piece of the restaurant that should not be missed.
