Greatest place ever to eat breakfast. Siani was the best waitress I've ever had. She was efficient, nice, and overall a pleasure to have as a waitress. Would totally recommend the food and the service any day!

I came here excited after the remodel. Saw everything with Gordon Ramsay. The place looks very clean. Especially in the seating side.
I was underwhelming. I walked in. The āseat yourselfā sign was nowhere near the front door so I didnāt see it. I donāt understand the seat yourself option because thereās no servers in sight. I didnāt see a server until about 10 minutes in to my visit. The server was not making regular rounds to tables I decided to get up from my table and put in an order for their chicken sandwich. I stood there with no greeting from the lady taking orders and she just treated me like an uber eats delivery driver and not a customer.
I feel bad for the staff because Iām sure with the visit from Gordon Ramsay and the remodel thereās a lot of pressure, but some of these things for a restaurant are basic and not high level customer services. I get this level of service at a basic local diner which is kinda what this place seems to be.
The chicken sandwich was cheap in price, I was a little shocked by the price it feels like not a lot I was expecting to pay at least $15 since Gordon Ramsay āmade his markā here in a way.
The chicken sandwich was not bad. The sauce is really good and the jalapeƱo slaw is great.
As a fellow business owner, they should really charge more. $10 for a decent sandwich which included a 20% tip for service similar to McDonaldās is kinda crazy.

Then they were going to take our order. Upon us going to place our order, guess what no delivery driver. I see Gordon wasted his time. Same staff, same problems, and same Marvel Ranch. They lost our business once again.
Dude this place is disgusting....my fiance grew up in reading and I've lived in reading for 8 years and this place is known as the local grease pit .... eaten here a few times and it gets worse everytime even after Gordon Ramseys visit .... you can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a filthy pig .... we've found roaches and hair in our food .... if you want good American food in reading area go a few minutes over the mountain to Exeter diner your wallet and stomach will thank you.... do not recommend just stay outta this place

My fish sandwich was fried in dirty oil, and the french fries didn't fare much better. My recommendation was to do yourself a favor and try one of the cleaner places on Penn street, and then they remodeled everything, cleaned the place up, and improved the food quality to the point that they deserved another chance. It shows that you don't need to be a filthy pig pen to make it on Penn Street.

I Came in to see the renovations they did for the new Restaurant refresh series Gordon Ramsey is doing! Place looks amazing and food was excellent as usual. I sat next to the table that placed the review before mine and they were so rude and loudly talking to us badly about the service and menus.not being given to them that it's no wonder people were avoiding them. They were slammed and all doing their best to keep up and I know they are just going to keep getting better! Congratulations to all of the staff and owners for helping keep a iconic place growing and thriving. I will be back and can't wait to celebrate all your success!

If Gordon Ramsey was here at all this morning he must've walked out because just yikes. Something tells me he probably gave up on this place. So my friend, her boyfriend, and I showed up and it looks really nice! We tried to catch someone's eye to see if we're seating ourselves but we were ignored so we sat ourselves. It took awhile but eventually some dude basically threw napkins and silverware down on the table but no menus. Another maybe ten, fifteen minutes later a server comes to take our order. We didn't have menus and didn't even know what drinks they had. She quick handed us menus and we skimmed it but yeah no drinks listed. We ordered three waters and an orange juice. They brought us three waters and two orange juices. Whatever I drank it. We all got our waters and I like orange juice so hey I'm good with a free orange juice. It was weird though no glasses. It was plastic throw away cups for the water and styrofoam cups for the orange juice. We all ordered pancakes and waited forever. I got plain just syrup, butter, and powdered sugar. My friend's boyfriend got bananas on his and my friend got plain just butter. Her boyfriend and I got ours right away but my friend didn't get hers. Well they forgot my powdered sugar but maybe I didn't ask loud enough I don't know. They said they'd bring me some they never did. Waited for awhile again and they bring her pancakes with pecans. I flag down the waitress and they get her the right ones. Thankfully those came quick. They're lucky she's not allergic to nuts because that could've gone super bad if she was. She went and asked where the bathroom is. They ignored her and were arguing with each other about her pancakes. She finally got an answer although it was with attitude. When they took our plates they took my friend's half full cup of water. She had briefly stepped away to look at the muffins and they just took away her water. They're like oh she's doesn't need this right and put another cup in it and took it away before we could say anything! They only brought us the check when my friend stood up. To be fair she was going to go up to the counter to attempt to pay but hey at least it hurried them up. But yeah servers barely payed attention to us, didn't ask how our food was even once. At one point my friend is literally saying how terrible this is going and how she hasn't even been able to ask for a refill of her water within earshot of our server and our server comes over says oh you got your pancakes great! Walks away without asking us how our food is or we can say anything. Not all the menu items were even listed on the menu. Apparently they had muffins and stuff. Wasn't listed anywhere and no one mentioned it we only knew because we just happened to see the case with them. They also didn't even tell us what drinks they had we just guessed. The owner or manager whoever he was was talking to all his friends or regulars but ignored all the other customers. The people he likes definitely got priority. So final review. It looks nice, food wasnt bad espcially for the price. Not even $20 for all three of us. However, maybe fix up the menu, and get way better service. I guess Gordon Ramsey couldn't even fix them!
