The food was really good unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. We got our food and had to request silverware and napkins which took several minutes to arrive. Additionally we had a collection of dirty plates by the end of our meal because none were cleared between the appetizer and main course being served We did really enjoy the food though so we may be back.
The only place in the Reading area that has themed brunches that are ACTUALLY themed from the staff being in character, music, movies playing that are a part of the theme, and the best drinks! Love the food too! Rayna is a true liquor connoisseur, Taylor has a great personality and spirit and Mike is just the best!! I look forward to going each month for the vibes, themes and the people. It is hard to write a review of restaurants based on food because everyone has different tastes. What I may like, others may not, and vice versa. However based on my personal experiences, it is rare that I find a restaurant anymore where I am wowed to the point where it makes an impression and I say to my wife “We definitely need to go back there”. That is exactly what happened at State Hill however. Their food had excellent flavor and did not seem like so many restaurants...
