The Bake Shop at Skyline Drive Orchard

This is a must stop! It is not only a very quaint store it sits on a beautiful property. I love the baked goods here! I'm thrilled with their pies❤️ They sell Reading items, and I gave them as gifts, and they were well received.

My wife and I went there on their pie sampling day. Every sample we tried was delicious. In fact, we ordered an apple crumb pie for Thanksgiving. It is truly a hidden gem.

I've been looking for a great bakery forever. This is it! Purchased apple dumplings, small size cherry pie and blueberry pie, as well as cinnamon rolls with peanut butter icing. Everything was excellent with homemade taste. The pastry was so tender, and the apple dumplings tasted ljust like my Grandmom's (huge compliment)! Just the right sweetness, not overly sugary. Same with the pies. Can't wait to try the sticky buns.

What a wonderful bake shop! I have visited twice now and everything is delicious. I love how you have small pies. The lemon sponge was so good. Your chocolate heart cookies were excellent! I also love how you sell other non-food items and your soup, bread, and barbecue are very good too. I’ll keep coming back to try new things for sure!

Like going back in time, the shop is awsome and the people are so nice and couldn't be more helpful, the baked goods are delicious, as soon as you open the door the nostalgic smells take you back to better times, great gifts as well for that person who has everything, a must place to go, Enjoy, Happy Holidays?

Update since reopening:The bake shop is delightful and I always enjoy all the thoughtful products you can buy. Not only is there coffee, and obviously delicious baked goods, there are nice home goods and other local products that are too good to pass up. So glad to see this place up and running again. Definitely miss the apples but otherwise this has to be the best reboot we've had in a while around here.Stop in for a bite, stay to shop!Skyline drive orchard has been a keystone of this area for years. The apples are impeccable and delicious. Currently due to covid-19 they are closed.If you are able to call and leave a message they will arrange curbside pickup of apple orders.I highly recommend during the apple season that anyone who is an apple lover take the time to order some apples.
