I always enjoyed the previous Black Cap in Red Lion and have patiently waited for the new venue. I decided to go to the NEW Black Cap now on N. Franklin in Red Lion a few times before I share my review. I was not disappointed! Very nice menu and GREAT BEER list. I just love their lager and hefeweizen beers. Our server was fantastic, and 2/3 beers were great. Food was pretty average, could've made the charcuterie better myself but the wings were tasty enough. Would go again for a few drinks at the bar as it was a nice vibe.

The poutine tots were delicious, good beers and friendly service. Black Cap was beautifully restored inside. Our only complaint is the pub height chairs, which are very uncomfortable.
