In my opinion they have the highest quality coffee in the York area. Upstairs has a bunch of tables with each having an outlet so it's a great place to study or work.

A true hidden gem on Franklin St in Red Lion. A family owned cafe serving highly quality coffee and food for our health and community! They make it easy to avoid processed foods with no sugar added and KETO options đ Itâs rare to find a business serving a whole-food based menu, so this place is ahead of the times and includes sourdough options for pancakes and bread.
From my first visit they took the time to explain in detail their different espresso beans and their origins, expected tasting notes and flavours. So as a coffee lover I have really enjoyed trying their rotating single origin espresso beans and their unique flavor profiles.
Overall, Grounding has an outstanding experience in the cafe, the menus and people! I would recommend the sourdough pancakes w/ PA maple syrup and fresh brewed coffee in a ceramic mug. This is my favorite coffee spot in York county that is definitely worth the drive to support a local small business!!

Woaaaaah. Thereâs a very calm, serene feeling about this coffee shop.. menu is intentional, nothing artificial or processed. Their coffee is elite, single origin. The building is beautiful as well, tons of character with exposed beams and brick. Overall a solid spot. 10/10

The nicest best coffee shop in the area and rivals any big city coffee shop. Highly recommend, especially for coffee aficionados.

Chris was our barista (also the proprietor), and very knowledgeable of his products. He asked questions which helped him give me my best experience, as well as having me sample a coffee blend I normally wouldn't have chosen...but now I will! Very pleased with my visit & will frequent whenever I'm in the area.

The coffee menu is boring. I asked for an iced caramel latte, and the guy responded with, âwe donât do processed sugarâ. So I opted for the honey option. My latte had zero sweetness. I would not return. The atmosphere is beautiful but though and the gentleman that helped me was nice. Just not my type of latte that I like! Also, the price for this latte was pricey, around 7 bucks!

Literally my favorite place to be in the area. Best coffee by far, every detail is thoughtful, well sourced, and the owner is incredibly sweet and caring about customer needs and opinions.
Also absolutely LOVE that the milk source that is automatically used if you don't specify is oat đ„°

Went there Friday afternoon. It took a few minutes for the barista to show up. Ordered a regular coffee at $4. Amazingly, they charge .50 extra to add cream. Carried the coffee out to my car. It took one sip to find out the coffee was not hot and the cream was off. Nasty!!!! Poured it all out. Lesson learned.

I used to enjoy the chai here. First few times was lucky to be served by friendly baristas.
I had the unfortunate chance of meeting the owner with her elitist attitude. Had a simple request to steam the milk, she was super rude about it. Never had a problem at all before. You get clean ingredients with a side of attitude with her - no thank you.
Grounding is a truly next level café experience.
Tucked away from the well worn path and stewarded with so much love and intention, its quiet strength is palpable and welcoming. Home to many souls who have come to cherish its offerings, Grounding is a safe, soft space to land, slow down, and find your center in a world of seemingly endless hustle and bustle. Kris, the owner and operator, has mindfully curated a menu where delicious indulgence meets wholesome nutrition. Each ingredient gets its opportunity to dance across your taste buds as simplicity accentuates high-quality selections, and the depth of conversation, compassion, and critical thinking is nourishing to the body, mind, and soul.
I've been blessed to witness firsthand how much care goes into this space, each and every day.
Bring an open mind and a heart brave enough to try something new, and let Grounding do the rest.
