“It is a throw back bar.Ok..Ok..It a dive.! but a great dive bar! Walking in takes you back in time. I don't think there is a more laid back bar than Huie's in Berks County. Want to smoke a cigarette? You can. They don't chase you outside to smoke. It is the most non pretentious bar I have every been to. Beer prices are great. Scott, the bartender, is such a nice guy. Pretty damm smart too. Don't challenge him in Jeopardy unless you want to get your butt handed to you. This bar may not be for everyone and that's a good thing but it's good enough for me and all the other nice people who go there!! 1/2/24.. The greatest dive bar in Berks County. There are a lot of regulars and a lot if banter. If you are thin skinned or easily offended, this is not the place for you. If you come in feeling entitled or special, or demanding or complaining you won't feel that way when you walk out. Yeah, it a little clicky but it's like family when you are part of the click.“

“Just wanted to give a shout out to Railroad House and their staff. April, Manager Adam, and our waitress Mary were super accommodating on helping us celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. Food was great, our waitress Mary did a phenomenal job keeping up with our party of 13 drinks and food order. April had our table reserved and even accommodated us when more people joined our party. Adam checked in on us thru out the night and even brought the birthday girl a shot.Thank you all!! Highly recommend. If you come in with a large party, call ahead and they will take care of you.“

“If you're looking for outside dining with a wonderful deck atmosphere plenty of TVs two bars this place is a diamond in the rough. Located in Ephrata Pennsylvania you could drive by it and not realize what you just missed. I would highly suggest one of their crush drinks, and their banging shrimp. (That is the name of the entree not just a description)“

“Had dinner early on a Friday night and couldn’t be more pleased. We had apps, entrees and dessert coffee and were in and out in an hour. Enough leftovers for two lunches and tastes great! Waitress could have been more personable, but otherwise a great experience.“

“Absolutely fantastic experience at Ganly's Irish Pub and Restaurant! The service was top-notch — the wait staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The night manager was also very welcoming and personable.

We both enjoyed our meals greatly — I had the Maryland mac and cheese and my wife got the beef stroganoff. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, super rich, flavorful, and served with huge portions. The quality and taste totally justified the slightly higher prices, especially since we ended up taking leftovers home and enjoyed them for two more meals.

Highly recommend Ganly's for anyone looking for an authentic, hearty meal with excellent service. We'll definitely be returning!“

“I came here for a trivia night event and had the Sea-duction with a side of green beans and a baked potato. The seafood was tender and well-seasoned. I especially enjoyed the broiled flounder. The baked potato was cooked just right and came with butter and sour cream. I absolutely loved the seasoning on the green beans and they were tender without being overcooked. The service was prompt and friendly, especially with the business of the evening. The dining area was open with an inviting ambiance. “Stopped in to relax after a long day with my wife. We were seated immediately. Another couple was seated after we were, and there drink order taken while we waited. Numerous waiters walked past and only looked at us. Waiter came back with there drinks and took there food order while we still waited. We finally said something and the comment was made, oh nobody waited on us yet and off she went. We finally stood up and left, and on the way out somebody was headed our way. While we were waiting 2 waitresses standing at the end of the bar on there phones. Great outdoor place, but last several times service has been horrible. More interested in talking to each other and being on there phones. Don't ask for more information on who it may have been as was asked in previous complaints, just fix it.“
