“What’s happening here? How can a little shop like this in California, PA have some of the best sushi I’ve ever tasted? And the rice bowls AND wings!? Not to mention the delicious ice cream and the waffle sandwiches? That’s all we’ve tried so far but my husband and I are both eager to try more menu items. I can see this place being dangerous on the wallet. I highly recommend the Super Alaska and Yellow Tail rolls. Also, the Yum Yum sauce is to die for. I could drink it by the gallon. That peanut butter frosting should be sold by the tub-it is that delicious! I received a warm welcome and it is such a cute spot. “We had one of the best meals of our lives last night at Vesta 88 while celebrating our son's 27th birthday! Ron and I had the special (grouper topped with crab-stuffed shrimp, tomato basil risotto and asparagus)--and Noah had the poutine and meatball trio. SO delicious! The servers are so friendly and attentive, and the coal-mining themed atmosphere and memorabilia make for a unique dining experience. Our new fave local restaurant!”

“What a great gem! Went here for a wedding reception. Appetizers were Brussel sprouts, stuffed mushrooms, crab cakes and pretzel with cheese. Top tier!!! Dinner I had the ribeye. Came with baby potatoes and carrots. Absolutely delicious. Cooked to absolute perfection. The steak melted like butter. The atmosphere and presentation is very elegant and great for date night.”

“We visited Rizzle’s Roadhouse for the first time today! It is half bar and half restaurant so we expected the typical bar food. WHAT A SURPRISE! THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT! There were four of us and we all agree and will go back even though we live an hour away. We had grilled chicken mahi-mahi, ribs and steak - all excellent! You won’t be disappointed!”

“Did a drive for a job I start tomorrow and we stopped at this place to eat. It is cash only so lucky we had 28 bucks on us. We shared a super club and fries. “Delicious food! We order very frequently from this location. Once in a while something will be missing but they are always friendly and fix anything wrong without hesitation. The food is always hot and fresh, and our favorite part is they give very large portions! We can feed a family of 5 on $50-60 and still have leftovers! One of our favorite restaurants in masontown! 😁”

“Overall food is good except for the spring rolls and egg rolls. I think this is the only time I have ever thrown food away from takeout service. The rolls were so oily and greasy. When I took them out of their little bag oil literally poured out of it, all over my hands. I squeezed out the rolls with paper towels but ended up not eating them. Horrible.”
