“I was looking for a small little hidden gem, and I found it at the Paulsboro Diner. I had great conversation, delicious food and the service was top-notch. Did I say friendly, haven’t been to a friendlier eatery in years.“

“Lovely mom and pop diner. The food is great and is owned by a family. Only complaint is the booth seats are pretty rough, and also arent the most comfortable to sit on. Otherwise i would advise checking out this local diner for breakfast. Cash only here“

“This Diner is the best diner I have ever gone to in my life. It has been operating since 1937 and is an original. I love it! It is absolutely 100% genuine, and should be kept open and running as it is a place of absolute history too. I hope it remains to be open and running past it's 100 birthday and that future generations can experieince something real and genuine, the real American Diner as it was from the time it opened till now. Untouched, and not recreated as a diner of today, but one that is exactly as it was since the day it opened. Absolutely delightful!!! I love this place!!!“

“I went to have lunch here today an everything was just perfect. I had an old fashioned grilled cheese but I like bacon on mine. I'm very picky when it comes to my bacon an I told the server Anna just how I wanted it and it came out just how I liked. My server Anna was amazing. She was super sweet payed attention to detail checked on us multiple times. All while having like 5 more tables including a 12 top. The atmosphere here was very welcoming. I will definitely be coming back.“

“Let me start by saying don't go in here expecting a traditional restaurant experience. This is an old school, fast paced, self-serve/take-out style diner that is CASH ONLY (has an ATM). That, however, is EXACTLY what I want for good breakfast on a busy weekday morning. And good doesn't begin to describe it. Staff are a well oiled machine used to a very busy fast-paced environment who are there to get your order, give you your food, and let you move on with your day.
Now the food. Let me say, it isn't hard to make good home fries, but these were AMAZING. Onions and peppers in perfectly made home fries with perfect consistency and a taste to die for. No need to season them as they were perfectly seasoned. In my almost 41 years of life, these are the best damned home fries I've ever had! My eggs were made perfectly over medium with wonderful runny yolk like I love them and were wonderfully flavorful. Sausage patties were delicious as well, partner got pancakes that were fluffy and sweet even before the butter and syrup. Excellent diner, fast service. For anyone that likes this kind of place, it is up there for best ever!“

From the moment you walk in the door, you're greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The menu is full of classic diner fare, from hearty breakfasts to juicy burgers and sandwiches to mouth-watering desserts. Everything is freshly prepared and cooked to order, and the portions are generous enough to satisfy even the biggest appetite. But what really sets this diner apart is the service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to go the extra mile to make sure you have a great dining experience. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you'll feel like part of the family here. Overall, if you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a great meal with friends or family, this diner is definitely worth checking out. “Going into city line deli for the first time in 35 years this place has a special place in my heart because this is one of the first jobs I ever had when I was a kid from 1983 to 1986and met my best friend for life there. I certainly didn’t know what to expect when I walked in having such fond memories. I hope it hadn’t changed too much when I walked in that feeling of the 80s came back a little bit, there were some minor changes at the front door. There used to be a register where everybody would pay their check that is moved to the center in between the deli and the cooking area, across from the deli used to be refrigeration cases with all of your retail cheeses, dairy products and other items those are no longer there. The seating has stayed the same with a few changes in the back. There is no more seating towards the back door, which leads down to the bathroom Overall though this still has The look in the feel of the old deli reminiscent of good old times I saw that they had a number counter for customers when they are busy, and I’ll be darned if that is not the same number counter we had and used back in the 80s. It has not changed. The menu is classic Jewish style deli with some twists and new items while the customer base has changed over the years. It seems that they’re still quite a few People that enjoy A good Philadelphia Jewish deli like this I ordered an everything bagel toasted with olive oil, lettuce, tomato, onion, and green peppers and Kalamata olives on the side being vegan. I took out the smoked salmon, but that is something that I would eat every week growing up as a kid minus the smoked salmon. The sandwich was absolutely delicious Brought back so many memories Kalamata I know they’re only olives, but I absolutely love them with this sandwich the saltines of it along with the fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, and green pepper. It’s just so delicious. My friend had a smoked salmon Benedict, which he did like very much while they weren’t that busy our waitress was very nice. The kitchen was a little bit backed up with orders from takeout this did not bother me. I was just glad to be here back in the 80s and the 90s this place was so busy. We would have 6 to 7 waitresses on at a time and the weekend was absurd Friday Saturday there was a line out the door and Sunday you would be lucky to get in. It was the place to be when we received our check I was astonished this place actually is affordable and a good value and will be someplace that I visit more often because of that I just hope I can get out here more often. Very nice people. That have taken over this business if you like, old-school corn, beef sandwiches, smoked fish, platters, and homemade soups. This is the place for you.“

“Excellent server ! Two times I've been there , stale hamburger roll. 12 bucks for a cheeseburger? AND an extra $2.75 for French fries? instead of "potato chips?", seriously??? nah, I'll stick with the Pointe 40 Diner instead. coleslaw served in crappy plastic container? so small, I couldn't even see it, warm pickles? never again. Pointe 40 Diner blows this place away. Harrisson House, overpriced.“

“I like my first experience but not the second. I even invited my family with me. Whomever cooked the steak did it wrong 2x. Steak is expensive. So I was quite disappointed in that and the waitress forgot my girlfriend's coffee 3x. It was disappointing. Very. Also she forgot her mozzarella sticks. I hope to be able to go again. I really like it when I was there before.“
