“Food and service great. Could be cleaner . However our experience was not pleasant we sat next to this older lady that was upset that she was waiting outside and claims that no one came to get her. The two girls at the checkout apologized to her several times. She just went on and on how the girls should apologize again. I felt so bad for these girls were practically in tears. Her daughter obviously works there and this lady feels she's entitled, she even yelled at the girls in front of customers. I hope these two employees didn't get in trouble for the lady's actions. That is why I am writing this review. The woman's actions were uncalled for!! Otherwise food and service were great!”

“We were on our way home from Knoebels from the campground Sunday and we stopped for the lunch buffet or dinner buffet not sure what it is called. But I have to say it was one of the best foods I’ve had in a long time. Everything was top-notch such good flavor. Everything was delicious and they had so many choices to choose from. Will definitely be back again !! And you can’t beat the price for what you can get. I give it 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

There are a range of beers on tap. (We like 'a little less conversation' with notes of peanut butter and banana and 'Mother's Little Helper' with notes of coffee and chocolate.)

The place offers a pool table and a pretty good set of seating - inside and out.

“We read a bunch of good reviews about the owner and this pizza. so, even though we don't live close by we decided to try it. Reviews were accurate. great pizza! We had a pie with sweet sause and pep. Thin, and done perfectly. 5 stars! My wife picked it up and said how nice everyone was and the owner had a joke for her. Excellent food and love to support good people. Thank you! We will be back for sure.”

“I’ve been enjoying this sub shop since 1977! Originally owned by the Randello family, I was fortunate to meet Theresa and Maria while a student at St. Cyril Academy. Their family is the best!!! Born and raised in Chicago, I’ve never experienced subs, or cosmos like this! The best EVER! I’ve been returning to Danville since 1981. First stop is always The Danville Sub Shop! Although the original owner has passed, and his family has other businesses in town, it is still as good as I remember! The Cheese Cosmo is the best! My son brought eight home with him the last time we were there!!”

“I wanted so badly to try this place, and while my hopes were high I did leave a little disappointed. My partner had to keep getting up to ask for drinks, and my breakfast sandwich had an egg undercooked with runny whites. So I ordered a new egg, I usually don’t mind just keeping it simple to which my new egg again had runny whites. Don’t get me wrong I love a runny yolk, but not the white. My partners berry compote French toast was amazing! All in all, if you don’t mind waiting a while to get your drinks(and refills) and at least 35-45 mins for your food, it’s good. It felt understaffed, working in food business before, it seemed the waitresses were overwhelmed for sure.”

“Always get delicious food and the staff are friendly/polite. My family and I were sat by a table that became obnoxious; I asked our server if we could move tables and keep her as our waitress, at which point the manager allowed it. New table/area was a huge change and made the meal even better!”

“We come to danville every 3 Months for our sons cystic fibrosis appts at the hospital and I’ve been seeing and wanting to try gallera the last few trips and finally got to try it today and it’s very good .we live a about a hour and a half away and it’s good to try something different. “My hubby is a brisket, ribs guy and I like to try any other interesting things you smoke! This past Saturday we had brisket, ribs, chicken quarters and the smoked jalapeño/cheddar sausage! As usual everything was very, very good. I’d love to see the sausage become a regular menu item. Also, I missed the pork belly you offered last year. I have a diabetic relative who loves your smoked meats because they are not sweet. You offer great sauces if folks want sweet but the seasoning you use is nicely flavorful and rugged without being sweet. See you in the spring! 🌺”

“Stopped at route 61 Chicken shack not restaurant,on a friday at 1101 am..oredered take out chicken wqs outstanding and took less than 5 minutes..my friend got a platter with 2 sides All quality homemade.I got achicken breast and a leg for later..Held up well in take out package..impressive ..I reccomend Massers Chicken Shack for quality , cleanliness,Service and Boy was that breast tasty going back tomorrow Thx Massers! : )”
