“I usually go on a Monday for line dancing. Depending on the bartender, good luck getting a drink. The phone seems more important than waiting on customers. Great line dancing here, though. Lessons are on a Monday with dancing throughout the week. The only day that has bartender issues is Mondays. And that depends on who it is.“

Food was great, our waitress Mary did a phenomenal job keeping up with our party of 13 drinks and food order. April had our table reserved and even accommodated us when more people joined our party. “We were there last night ,Saturday January 4. It was very busy. I have to give a job well done to Mel! She was the only bartender and she kept up with the bar and the line to get drinks. She was calm and handled it well. She did not ask for help but some of the Trustees took glasses, brought her ice and also helped the only waitress running food and clearing tables. Kudos to those ladies that helped. This is a great place and again I would like to give kudos to Mel. A true professional!“

“It is a throw back bar.Ok..Ok..It a dive.! but a great dive bar! Walking in takes you back in time. I don't think there is a more laid back bar than Huie's in Berks County. Want to smoke a cigarette? You can. They don't chase you outside to smoke. It is the most non pretentious bar I have every been to. Beer prices are great. Scott, the bartender, is such a nice guy. Pretty damm smart too. Don't challenge him in Jeopardy unless you want to get your butt handed to you. This bar may not be for everyone and that's a good thing but it's good enough for me and all the other nice people who go there!! 1/2/24.. The greatest dive bar in Berks County. There are a lot of regulars and a lot if banter. If you are thin skinned or easily offended, this is not the place for you. If you come in feeling entitled or special, or demanding or complaining you won't feel that way when you walk out. Yeah, it a little clicky but it's like family when you are part of the click.“

Cozy atmosphere, excellent service. The dishes are presented well. Generous servings. Everyone works together, so it's never hard to get the attention of a server.

This is my favorite restaurant. I recommend trying the Cobb salad.“

“The first thing we noticed was the vibe. Nice atmosphere, not too loud and the feel of an Irish Pub.

Our server Zaire was 5 stars from the water glasses to dessert. He's a keeper.

The food was outstanding. The worst part was seeing what everyone else was eating too. Every plate that came out looked off the hook outstanding.
