“We stayed on a summer weeknight and had a great experience! The grounds are beautiful with tons of photo opportunities and peaceful walking trails. We stayed in the Carriage House—very clean rooms with their own parking, and just a short, easy walk to the main hotel. The complimentary breakfast buffet for guests was a highlight—especially the made-to-order omelettes, which were absolutely delicious! The shops on-site are super cute, and the pool and playgrounds kept the kids happily entertained. A relaxing, family-friendly getaway—we’d definitely stay again!“

“My husband and I used Upohar for our wedding. The food was sooooo good and we still have guests talking about some of the dishes! We had a combination of Peruvian, West African and Lao dishes. We recommend Upohar to anybody wanting delicious food at their wedding. The service and care they put into our whole experience was wonderful as well!“

“The service was quick and very pleasant. Your coffee was some of the best I’ve drank and your black bean brownie was better than a regular one!! My grandson enjoyed it and never knew the difference ❤️ An eclectic, homey, well priced coffee and eatery. Lots of options for vegan and gluten free. Will definitely be back!“

“The food was good and overall we enjoyed our experience. I dinged them because they were out of quite a few things on the menu. It was fairly early on a Saturday evening (6:00 reservation) and they were out of four main courses, a salad, and an appetizer. There were no seafood choices at all. The ambience was kind of nondescript but in their defense they weren't in their regular space. I did love my dessert - I don't see it often on menus.“

“Nicole has to be one of the nicest clerks I have ever met in a store, always willing to go the extra mile and when she found out, I drove all the way from Baltimore to come to the store. She gave me her number and said to call her when I am headed there and she will make me up a fresh batch of my favorite pralines. She really does go the extra mile and I look forward to coming back to see you all during the holidays. Your pralines are made exactly the way my grandmother used to make them and I can’t wait to share them with the rest of my family. Thank you Nicole for being. “I wish I could tag every sandwich shop in Lancaster, so they could know where the best sandwiches are made. Take notes. I went here on a whim, and let me tell you. The Zesty Jack was unbelievable. My only regret is not buying 3 more to take with me. Their sauce, the cheese, the bread, just absolutely muah. *Chef's Kiss* 10/10. Perfect.“

“this café is in a convenient location and offers a wide variety of fresh food and drinks. the prices can be a bit extreme for the portion sizes, specifically when it comes to the salads, but it's not that much more than some of the other cafés around here.
the atmosphere here is really comfy. i have spent hours in here talking with friends and studying without even realizing it. really good vibes. the service is also always friendly and familiar.“

“Just had dinner at Bird-in-Hand Restaurant- the smorgasbord was amazing! So many choices! Everything was hot and delicious. The cheeseburger soup was very good! The homemade rolls- very yummy! Shrimp, ribs, mashed potatoes! Salad! I even had a mango slushy! Definitely the place to eat. Can’t wait to come back and try breakfast! Oh and dessert! Wow! Pies, puddings, amazing. Very Lancaster County authentic food! Loved it!“

“I make sure I stop here when I make my yearly trip to Sight and Sound theatre. Their wonderful choice of inventory makes for a great an easy way to fulfill needed supplies that I can't obtain at home. I think their prices are right on for the quality. The persons working there are extremely helpful . Sadly, I didn't know about the "cold product section" in the back of the store until it was closing time and I didn't want to make their day longer! I am not sure if there is a sign that describes what is behind the clear curtain but if not, maybe one could be put up! See you next year, Lord willing!“
