Hotel Saxonburg

I still have to give four stars because the food was amazing just like I always expect. They seem to be very unprepared and understaffed today for Mother's Day, despite us making reservations. They are not usually open on Sundays. Hopefully, next year they will plan a little better. We waited about an hour and 15 minutes after ordering to receive our food. When we arrived it was not busy. We sat at a table and were not approached by any staff member for over 30 min!! No drinks- just water from the hostess. Finally the hostess came over to us and apologized for the slow service and said she’d be our waitress (she has never been a waitress before)The French onion dip was great.Not sure if we’d go back until service improves- seemed like forever for anything and not sure if we woulda got any service if I didn’t say something...read full review

I can not give Hotel Saxonburg a high enough rating. My mom is in Concordia a few miles down the road from Hotel Saxonburg. She had hopes of going out for dinner but the sad reality was that we were not able to safely transport her. We had reservations at the Hotel and then called and asked if they could do a takeout order instead. We had a full order for 5 people with modifications and extras and they were so accommodating, everything was perfect!, still hot when we made it back...read full review
