“This place is not for everyone. Smoking is allowed and a basement bar. But the outside is nice and we met the owner. Great guy and it's clear everyone knows everyone. We were cleay out of place, but they treated us like we were regulars. Very friendly place.“

“My family has been a multi-year patron of Andrew Moore's Stone Bar Inn. Most of our dining visits. whether a table for two, or my entire family together at one time, have been top-notch first-class dining. We've enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor dining experience. We've enjoyed trying out each room for dining. We even did the old "kitchen experience table" many years ago as a birthday gift from my family. We, DW and I decided to celebrate our 43'rd wedding anniversary this past Thursday evening. Everything was once again "top notch" as we had hoped. Adn we even helped Bruce at the bar enjoy his 88th birthday! Table snacks and rolls? Perfect! Drinks? Very very nice. Apps and dinner were just as hoped for. Cooked perfectly and served hot and right on time. The music man started laying at 6 and was a ton of fun and I complimented him for his playing and singing "in tune"! Just to repeat; this was The Stone Bar Inn at it best and our servers and dinners and atmosphere choice (sitting in the bar area) made for a perfect 43rd anniversary celebration. Our 45-minute drive was not too far to go for the evenings experience, and we will do it again soon!“

“A small hidden gem, just right outside the downtown Stroudsburg area. This place is fantastic.. I have visited many times and every time it has not disappointed at all. The food was delicious, streak was cooked perfectly.. the various wings and sauces are amazing from mild to hot and everything in between, the pizza was crispy! as well as the stromboli...! and the specials are worth trying every time. I do want to emphasize that the drink selection as amazing as well. Try a cocktail.. and u will not be disappointed will go back anytime i need something different from downtown...“

“Wow! From the decor, the warm blue paint and copper colored accents on the ceiling, to the soft jazz playing in the background, the atmosphere is warm, sophisticated and inviting. We had the signature cocktail and sampled Wellers and Blantons. Our entrees were the Filet Mignon which was cooked perfect and reasonably priced compared to other upscale steakhouses in the Poconos.Troy was very attentive throughout our dinner!We promise; we will be back!“

Made friends with both of the bartenders. Met the owner and he was super nice, had a great conversation with him and his staff. So happy they have an IPA on tap. “From the minute we walked in we felt like we belonged here. The other patrons and staff were so nice. We had an honest solid hot dog, a burger, and a liverwurst sandwich of all things! Our meal and two beers were $20. What a deal. The locals were very inclusive and welcomed us. It's a neighborhood bar for crying out loud so don't expect like fancy atmosphere. Cash only but they have an ATM“

“Always a great dining experience at the Kunkletown Pub especially with a chef/owner at the helm. The situation is ideal because they check the inventory, prep all the ingredients and plate awesome entrees. The old farmhouse style exterior doesn't prepare you for the 'wait for it' food that the kitchen staff serves up. The food is made to order, typically a bit of a wait yet we are always happy with the results. We ordered the meat lasagna as an appetizer along with a chicken Saltimbocca over steamed spinach, side of stuffed potato plus the six tempura battered XL shrimp and steamed asparagus with a stuffed baked potato. it was all so tasty and fresh! A shout out to the chef for going above & beyond to feed the masses and our ROCKSTAR server, Natasha, who made sure to stop by intermittently to check on us and ensure our satisfaction with our meal.“

“Wow. Wow wow.. WOW. Truly blown away by the first class customer service that I, and every SINGLE patron in this building received 4.28.24 circa 3:00 to 5pm. NOLLA.. NICOLE.. & GABI (I had to ask for their names, they were that good.), were like high ranking Generals leading troops into battle, through the utter chaos, comprobable to WW3 (as seen in the Terminator series, great films btw). The scene was set by it being the hottest day of 2024, which was foreseen in the weather forecast. And yet no one was prepared for the volumes of customers derailed saw on this most auspicious day. It felt like I was reliving the beach invasion of Normandy on D-Day, and before you even ask.. yes I was present. I have lived past lives and that was one of them. Each young lady handles every request expertly and sat each party in a timely matter. It felt like I was watching Artists of the Era of DaVinci, Michaelangelo, and whoever it was who paint the Mona Lisa. “Such a great space that looks like a Dove bar from the outside. Very cool atmosphere and feel of the place. Lots of fun things to look at and there was music playing on the TV that synced up with the stereo system. The menu is large but not many vegetarian or vegan items. There was a vegan pasta dish but it was just okay. I would go again and see if I could find something else to eat since the place was so cool. They also gave you complementary peppers and pickles, yum!!“

“Good food, a welcoming atmosphere, and live music. Menu is fairly limited, but normal pub grub done well. Service on arrival was pretty poor but stepped up once we were seated. Live music was a pleasant surprise, and not overbearing, we could still have good table conversation. Will visit again.“

They had bar trivia that was supposed to start at 9:00, but I didn't stick around to see how it was. Got a cheese steak with provolone and the seasoned fries. Both were decent, but nothing to write home about.“
