Was here in business and was very happy we stopped in. I had the chicken park with a side of meat sauce pasta. You could tell everything was homemade and tasted delicious. I would definitely go back if I'm in the area.
What an amazing restaurant. Family owned for around 100 years. Seriously. Everything is from scratch and homemade. Nothing is "from a jar". First, their sauce/gravy. You can tell it's been slow simmered for hours to develop that rich flavor and color. It's very simple and yet so delicious. And it's the star of the show for so many of the meals here. Unfortunately they were not able to accommodate our group when we showed up a half hour before our reservation. They commented on lack of wait staff, bummer as I haven't been there in years. They were friendly and you could tell it wasn't the message they wanted to give. I am sure we will give it another shot at some point.
