“While house hunting in the area, we came across the Uptown Tavern and decided to pop in for some eats. It was a cozy place with a very mouth watering menu. The burgers we got were great, but the cheddar cheese jalapeño poppers were the best I've ever had to date (no exaggeration!). The owners were really down to earth people that were so cool to talk to. I'd love to go back some time, and if you're in the area, I highly recommend it!“

“On a rainy day in March, we decided to drive to Pottsville to take the Yuengling Brewery tour. There was a flyer in the sample room for the Port Bar and Grill. Sign next to it said find out how to get a free pint from your tour guide. We looked at the menu, and it looked really good… So we drove over. We ordered the pork belly burnt end fries. Wow. Hot honey over fries and pork belly. What an amazing start. We were there during brunch hours, so I ordered the black pepper bloody mary and the surf and turf breakfast burrito. Fan-#%*@ing-tastic… we will absolutley drive back up on a weekend. Lots of promising options on the menu.“

“I had the best BLT in sourdough at Rumors last Sunday. The Cesar salad is also incredible. The atmosphere is clean, friendly and relaxed. The vibe is very much like your favorite neighborhood tavern, except the food is markedly better.Parking: There was plenty of park when I stopped in.“

Haha ? ? 100/10 would DEFINITELY recommend ?Parking: More then enough parking for people.Wheelchair accessibility: I mean, going into there is all downhill, so it wouldn't really be a problem for someone who is wheelchair bound, but getting back to the vehicle is uphill, so it'll be kind of rough. “1st time here. Stopped in for a beer and some wings on a Sunday late afternoon. Not very busy. The bartenders were very polite and accommodating. Wings were good and the beer was cold. Definitely will be stopping in again if in that neck of the woods.“
