Drove past many times, finally made a reservation and I'm sorry I waited so long. If you enjoy a different menu selection, not the usual and ordinary, I highly recommend. The food was simply excellent, service stellar, and atmosphere perfect. We tried brushetta, brie, bisque, and potstickers. We all agreed that everything was cooked to prefection and the presentation impeccable. Entrees were shrimp stir fry, Mediterranean shrimp, and blackened chicken. Again, cooked perfectly and beautiful presentation but let me say, the shrimp were some of the best I've ever had, quality ingredients and a love for good food are a prioirty here and quite obvious from the preparation to presentation.

First time eating here and LOVED it. Atmosphere, food, service, the whole 9 yards was 10/10. I love unique places like this - not cookie cutter chain restaurants. It did take awhile for our food and drinks but I didn’t mind it one bit - I like being able to enjoy our drinks and company for awhile before food comes out. It seems that restaurants these days have everything come out so quick - appetizers come 5 min after drinks and 5 min after that the meal comes. It’s all so quick to fully enjoy. The Nutty Pear experience is exactly what a dining out experience should be - enough time to ENJOY and relax. Not in and out in 1 hour. That being said, just keep that in mind when you go. Don’t expect to be in and out in 1 hour. Expect to relax and enjoy it all! Pictured is the chicken carbonara I ate - delicious!

4 of us went here for 5:30 reservation. 1 waitress. Took half hr to order our drinks, but she took our order when we ordered drinks. Waited about 45 minutes for food. It was mediocre at best. Not enough sauce on linguine, rice overcooked. Tasted OK. Presentation was fine. Finally left at 8:05. Wasn't what we expected.

Loved everything about this place during our travels, especially the hidden location in the woods and the oldest parts of the building. Food and portions were great for the price and our server was lovely !

Excellent place eat. Just happened to stumble across it driving on a back road while visiting a friend. The French onion soup is the best I’ve ever had. My friend got the wings and let me try one, they were crispy and cooked perfect. I got the steak for my main course and it had blue cheese on top, never had a steak like but it was great. The staff is friendly and attentive. If you’re from the are or just visiting it would be well worth your time to stop in and have a meal.

This place is very interesting. I wanted to try it because of the reviews so hubby and I went on a Thursday night. Reservations are recommended and I can only assume this is because there is limited seating and you will spend a minimum of 1.5 hours here due to the service. They do not accept credit cards or debit cards- only cash, check, venmo and zelle. Upon walking in it is dimly lit and decorated as if you are traveling back in time. It is quite romantic, but a conversation will carry across the whole restaurant as it was extremely quiet. As far as the food- we ordered the dumplings as an app l. I got chicken francaise over rice and hubby got the korean chicken bbq bowl. It was okay but not worth the price to me. And we were there for 2 hours for 1 app and 2 chicken dishes. I did enjoy my dragonfruit mojito and our waitress was very nice. All in all I am glad I gave this place a try. I appreciate the quirky, upscale vibe they are going for but it wasn't good enough for me to return.
