Pastry is good and their bread is phenomenal. However, no price tags for most of the product. Limited options at the end of the day. And place desperately need some renovation. Felt ancient inside. Also a bit pricy, but it’s worth it in my opinion.
I always make a point to stop by this bakery when I’m in the area. They have a fantastic selection of breads, bagels, cookies, and pastries—and I’ve never left disappointed (or hungry)!
I was born and raised in Scranton but moved to Texas almost 25 years ago. I was in Scranton visiting family while on vacation and stopped by the National Bakery to grab a few bags of rolls and tea biscuits because I haven't had them in a very long time.
