I asked Google for a good sandwich spot, and this is the one they gave me, I went the inside smells like gasoline, my sandwiches, I ordered 3, could not eat any of them, because the bread was so hard. I have a video of me tapping on the bread, and it sounds like I'm tapping on somebody's front door. I reached out and was told that bread was fresh. They got it that morning. Change bread people if I was you.

We get off I-81 every year on our road trip to the family reunion to get an Italian Sub, specifically to the Swetland location. So much character! And the sub is worth the added time to a 12-hour drive!

Got takeout, people were really friendly but the food was lackluster at best. Too much bread for the turkey and cheese hoagie. Nowhere near enough meat, cheese was not good. It was just overall very disappointing. Ended up eating less than half and throwing the rest out.I might give them another try but not anytime soon.
Still the same delicious hoogies, as I recall three decades ago; one of a kind!
