We get off I-81 every year on our road trip to the family reunion to get an Italian Sub, specifically to the Swetland location. So much character! And the sub is worth the added time to a 12-hour drive!

Got takeout, people were really friendly but the food was lackluster at best. Too much bread for the turkey and cheese hoagie. Nowhere near enough meat, cheese was not good. It was just overall very disappointing. Ended up eating less than half and throwing the rest out.I might give them another try but not anytime soon.

Always loved coming here to buy candy and the home-made Italian hoagies.I would come here as soon as school let out which was convenient since the school is right next door.Ive moved away but still make it my mission to stop when I'm in Scranton. I will always cherish the memories and conversations I've had with Nicky and my old lunch lady who worked there ❤️?

The food is great. But the lady at the front counter is extremely rude & bothered by anyone that isn’t getting a premade hoagie. Second time that I have been there & she was rude. I don’t think I will be getting lunch from there again.
