How the heck does this only have a 3.9 rating? We arrived from the airport around 7:30 on a Friday night with no reservation. We were fortunate to get a table as the place was packed. Katie took excellent care of us. This is like eating in your grandmother's dining room. We had delicious prime rib and chicken piccata with a piece of exceptional carrot cake to go. I only have one complaint. In such a small space with solid walls and ceiling it gets pretty noisy.
We have been coming here for years. The food is always excellent and the portions are always significant The staff is wonderful. This place is truly a home away from home. Their calabrese is my absolute favorite.
We have dined at Russell’s for the past few years. I wish we had found it sooner. It is one of the best restaurants anywhere.
Experience - the reception and table assignments are generally good. The atmosphere is very nice.
