The Original Taco Bandido is a favorite restaurant known for friendly staff and a great menu. It has a drive thru pickup window and seating for about 20 inside. It is always Taco Tuesday inside with a regular special of 5 tacos for $10 (12 for soft shell). The service is very fast. The super hot sauce interests those who like spicy, while the hot is milder and the mild is very much so. The food is priced right and good. The owners and service are top tier. Great queso and fried ice cream for dessert is top tier with many toppings.
Specific meals include the Shrimp Taco Supreme, which was light on shrimp and flavor, and empanadas that were just ok but not bad for $2 each. The crispy lunch taco special for five dollars with a can of soda was a good deal. The beef and chicken tacos tasted very much the same, good but not excellent. The grande tacos are delicious. Burritos with rice and beans or without are both yummy and filling. The Mexican pizza is huge and loaded with toppings. The taco salad is loaded with plenty of ground beef. Empanadas have the perfect texture. The restaurant is cozy and very clean. The staff is wonderful and explains the menu. The food is fabulous.
