If you eat *at* the restaurant the food is great. If you do take out, the food is less desirable.
I've ordered Pad Thai with beef (both inside and takeout) & both times my beef did not look like beef. Both times it was a khaki colored meat (maybe pork??) so not sure if that was because of the sauce.
It tasted absolutely amazing when I ate in versus take out but I still didn't eat the meat.
The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great, too. I loved the music played as well.

Thai Rak Thai is one of my go-to spots for both lunch and dinner. I come here often, and the food is consistently excellent every single time. The panang curry, drunken noodles, and pad thai are absolute staples for me, they never disappoint. The portions are always generous, so I always have plenty of leftovers, which is a huge bonus. Highly recommend making reservations as the restaurant is very cozy and can get very busy (because this place is that good).

Amazing food after skiing all day. Would eat here as much as I could if I lived in Scranton.

Walked into a very nicely decorated and clean restaurant, ordered cheap appetizers with large portion sizes, and had an incredible $13 entree. I'm from New Jersey but I have not had such high quality food for the price in a long time. The thai spice cupcake dessert both looked and tasted better than it looked on the menu. The restaurant is vegetarian friendly (they have a dedicated section on the menu) and I wish I lived in Scranton so I could frequent the place.

This place is a gem. Stopped for lunch on our way up to the Catskills. The lunch menu is so well priced, was shocked to see $16 for two meals. We got red and panang curry, both delicious. Will return!

I came for the Tom Yum on a cold day, but what really stole the show for me was the Khao Soi. It was so creamy and a good level of spiciness like I wanted and the perfect balance of flavors, with delicious cuts of pork. Presentation was also amazing, as you can see.
The staff was lovely, and I gotta admit, I got emotional because I miss living in that part of the world, and the food brought back a lot of great memories. Thank you! ขอบคุณมาก!
