A classic mountain ski resort.
Food is way overpriced as it is on most resort property. The tahoe used to be a lot nice but they rearranged the seating so there is much less now than before and sometimes it isn't even warm inside anymore. Anyway they can save a dime they apparently will these days.
The lodge at the top of the mountain at Seven Springs Resort is old school utilitarian.
Friendly people, great views, outside deck and indoor tables. A little dated? Maybe, but I found it a great place to stop in, warm up and have some lunch.

Tahoe Lodge is an old school utilitarian mountain lodge and bar at the top of the lift at Seven Springs Resort. The food is expensive, running about $20 a plate for items like chicken tenders and fries. The line can take forever and the food can be cold. However, the service is great and the friendly people, beautiful views of the mountains and lake, and outside deck are highlights. It is a great place to stop in, warm up, and have some lunch, especially with an Epic pass discount.
