“I’m always in search of a good pierogi, stuffed cabbage, and haluski—and Pierogi Plus honestly comes very close to mom’s cooking. The flavors are rich, comforting, and just the way they should be.

My other half is from New Mexico and had never tried this kind of food before… let me tell you, he absolutely inhaled it. That alone should say everything about how good it was.

“On a cloudy Sunday morning, I visited this establishment with the intention of drinking the gravy and wearing the biscuits as hats throughout the week. Since I only got 3 biscuits though, I only would have enough hats for monday tuesday and friday. I ordered the double breakfast tacos, which were so delicious that I did jumping jacks while I ate them but was asked to stop when I fell backwards into a table and spilled some of my taco on the table. The table was clean, that's probably why they were upset with me. Speaking of tables, my table was very clean as well, but the cleaning product they used made it so sticky that the first layer of my elbow skin ripped off when I lifted my arm and I now look like I received a 2nd degree burn. That is okay though! As I was pouring my leftover gravy into a plastic bag, they offered me a box, suggesting excellent customer service. The bathroom walls do not taste like gravy though, don't try them. My good friend also had a minor allergic reaction to the black pepper he was drinking with a straw. All in all, wonderful restaurant that I would recommend.“

“It's exactly what you'd expect. The server was great. The table we were sat at had some crumbs, but not dirty or sticky 🤷‍♀️ it's an eat n park, not a fine dining spot, my standards weren't too high. Food was underseasoned for me but their main clientele is most likely more salt sensitive, if you catch my drift, so expect to need salt asks pepper if that's your jam.“

“my sister took her family out to eat for my nieces 8th birthday. the waiter told them they don't sing happy birthday anymore. after she questioned him he went back to ask and came out and said.. we still do it but no one wants to sing..??? this is absolutely ridiculous. I understand it's not the most fun thing to do . but for an 8 year old girl. do your job. i remember working there trying to scramble to get people to sing.. and noone like it but they did it because it was part of their job. didn't give her her free birthday dessert either...what has happened to Avalon eat n park in the evenings.. morning is still amazing, you go in the at night and it's a sh*tshow. so disappointed in this location“

“I had breakfast with my mom about a month ago. We sat for hours and just talked, had coffee and breakfast. The server was polite and took care of us brilliantly. She didn't hover and was there whenever we needed anything. I had breakfast with family one Sunday morning. It was not very busy, but the server was not as fantastic. She was just OK. Having said that, she may have been crushed with work that we didn't see. We took that into consideration. She was lovely, the service was just a little slow.“
