“Everything was great from the service to the pizza even the atmosphere I ready recommend this place to a few people the only thing is with that place being so busey the parking could be better it's so hard to back out of the parking spot“

“Dino’s Italian Bistro on Memorial Highway is your one-stop shop that will satisfy your pasta, pizza, and hoagie cravings, plus much more. The establishment is versatile to one’s needs, whether it be a quick piece of lasagna to go, or sit down with family and friends for some pizza in a cozy environment. The staff is pleasant, the restaurant is clean, and the food – at least the pizza – is very good.We arrived during the tail end of a winter storm on a Friday night, so we had the entire dining room to ourselves for most of our visit. We ordered an extra large, News York-style pizza, half with pepperoni and onions, and half with sweet peppers and mushrooms. While waiting for our pizza, we sat down, conversed, and sipped on our fountain sodas.The pizza arrived nice and hot, with plenty of our preferred toppings, each slice evenly cut into large slices, the melted cheese tugging back as we pulled it away from the metal tray and onto our paper plates. The pizza is still as good as I remember it during my trips to their shop at the local mall, which still exists.Dino’s isn’t what I would call a cozy place, but it is comfortable enough, with paintings of what appeared to be Italian landscapes and settings adorning the walls, mixed in with pictures of your standard Italian dishes. In one corner, across the room from a pinball machine, stood a Betty Boop statue holding a tray with a lone goblet. Throughout the bistro, pop music softly played in the background.As I mentioned above, Dino’s has a diverse menu of dishes, with salads and appetizers thrown in the mix. Hours vary, so it may be prudent to call in advance if you’d wish to dine in, or check in after shopping the stores of the strip mall where this place is located.“

“I absolutely love this place. They have the best vegan pizza ever. It's the garden pizza without cheese. Omg, it's amazing. I'm addicted. Besides that, the place is beautifully decorated, relaxing and inviting. Finally, the staff knows how to clean and is very friendly and helpful. This is a must go check it out place, put it on your list.Vegetarian options: They have minimal vegetarian and vegan dishes, but the one they have is amazing. They also have hot cocoa, which they can make with oat milk“

“Drove 2 hours round trip down and up the mountain from Pocono Summit after reading reviews online. Well worth the trip for a pepperoni/onion whole Sicilian and 1/2 a General Tso. Delicious and dough is awesome. We’ll definitely be road tripping back for more.“

“My family and I have been visiting Amberdonia for years and keep coming back because of how much we love it. I’ve also brought friends through the years. The décor and ambiance take us out of Kingston and transport us to Italy with their cozy feel. The pizza is baked to perfection and the service is friendly. Try the bakery items too. “The food was so amazing that I ascended to heaven and went back and when I realized I finnished it I was craving more than I have ever wanted. It made me go insane and had me foam from the mouth by just thinking about it. When I drank the water my sould went out of my body in shear happiness and came back. “A fun bar / pub to enjoy some great NEPA pizza. We arrived on a Friday and had to wait 10-15 minutes to get a table / booth (as was expected). Our party ordered both the round pie and a Sicilian tray. We were warned that pizzas were taking about 45 minutes which is what we experienced. Both pizzas were great and the side salads were very good as well. One problem, when the round pies were delivered the Sicilian was not with them. It took another 35 minutes fo the Sicilian to come out. I would have expected "first in line" service on the Sicilian but that is not what happened. Apparently the Sicilian order just went into the end of the cue. Bummer. All in all, and despite the problem with the order, we will definitely go back again.“

“Florios has always had great food. Their grilled chicken salad is amazing and it's huge I can feed myself for dinner and then lunch the next day with it. Only complaint is they only take cash anymore no credit/debit cards, which is very inconvenient because who really carries more than a few dollars on them. But otherwise great food and they are always very nice“

“This place is a favorite. Great rotating beer selections on draft. Pizza is always amazing. Bartenders know us and our usual order as we are creatures of habit but you can't fake just knowing. If you know, you know. Overall, one of the best places in the valley to just chill. No TVs but internet so great place to just veg on your phone, iPad, or computer with some ear buds. No problem with the checks, either.Take note, when restaurants give individual checks right out of the gate, these ladies are big tippers. If they need to deal with splitting checks, the server is not as fortunate in the tip area.We went to Buena Sara on Washington Street the last couple of years, but last year was it. 5 people stood on the side and watched the elder ladies struggle with splitting the checks, and they were not busy. Our group of 10 were the only people there. It was very inappropriate for an expensive restaurant.But everything was perfect with Crisnics. We will definitely be back. We've been to catered events, lunch, and dinner at Crisnics, prior to New Years Eve, and have always been served good food!“

We ordered a plain round and the hot roni. The plain round was the best I have had in years and would rate higher than the best pizzas in the Wyoming valley. Crust is light and crisp with the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. As for the hot roni, it is hands down the best pepperoni pizza I have ever tasted. Perfect spice with slight sweetness from the honey. The use of ingredients has a ratio that allows each ingredient to compliment one another.There is nothing I would recommend to improve these pizzas at all. If you ever open a location with seating I will bring my family and friends there weekly but either way we will be ordering frequently!“

“Shandras was literally across the street from me when I lived in Jenkins Twp. I ordered from there every Wednesday and Friday. When people claim that "Old Forge has the best pizza" I have to politely correct them. Shandras is BY FAR the BEST pizza on this planet- and the owners are the sweetest people on earth.“

“My review is nearly 50 years late, but I have fond memories of eating here as a young child on our biennial trips to the Hanover section of Nanticoke to visit my grandmother who lived across Espy Street from Ruby's Inn. I vaguely recall a bar a door or two down where we used to get steamed, spicy blue crabs, too. Also, a great place for kielbasa (Swantko's on Pine St?) that closed down around 2005 after 80 years in business shortly after I had them ship a box to my father for his 80th birthday. Then there were the candy stores on Front St we used to walk to; both started with a "P" if memory serves. And the hikes up the mountain to the reservoir, eating wild berries on the way. Does the horn at the old firehouse across the street from Ruby's still blow every night? I really need to plan a trip back to Ruby's to bring back all these good childhood memories through their pizza! Maybe I'll finally get to see Concrete City, too!“

“I had their round pie with onions, the taste of this pizza took me back to the 80's when pizza was made by hand and not machines. It was a 6 cut pie, came out nice and hot. My appetizer was an order of 4 meatballs in a marinara sauce, they had a nice taste to it. When I was walking in I was treated in a welcoming manner. But my strawberry cake was delicious. This place has a little bit of everything. Pizza, Mexican food, and in-between. Check them out, if you don't drive I saw signs for door dash. “Drove by this pizza place several times but just noticed it tonight. Hubby was driving so I googled it and we turned around to give them a try. I was a bit nervous because the pizza boxes seemed a bit light when bringing them to the car. They were pretty thin pizzas. Man were they good!! I really enjoyed the thin crust too. “First time ordering here. Called them 1:15 for a pagash and a LG plain pizza to be ready for 4:15. I arrived at 4:15 and I had to wait extra 20 minutes for my order. I think they forgot my order then when I arrived put the order in. They apologized many times. But that didn't help my family waiting in the car for me for 20 minutes. Pagash was good pizza was ok.“

Now when you walk into Sal's you are literally walking back thru time because this place reminds you of the old-time pizza shops back in the 70's and 80's. I started out with the antipasto, something different for a change. It was pretty good; I mean it's a salad. Now my pizza, that was delicious, I got onions, bacon, and sweet peppers which was a tasty combination. Now right after I got there, they started getting busy. I walked in and placed my order at the counter and got my drink, this is a cash only establishment, I believe they do have an ATM on site. My food came out in a timely fashion. “Finally got around to trying both their square and round pizza since it's only $10 for a 16-in. The round has very thin crust which I personally like. I'm not a pizza professor so I can't tell you what kind of cheese or whatever may have gone into the ingredients to give you an idea of what the outcome is but I thought it was good. The slices are definitely not as hefty as you would find at maybe Napoli's or in the Wilkes-Barre area Nello's to give an idea. But for $10 I would not pass this up. As for the square variety again not a pizza professor but it's comparable to most everything else around here. I would say at least in the square tray that I got the crust seemed a little too hard for my liking. But again no joke for a full tray for $10.“

The crust had the best crispy-to-fluffy ratio with great flavor, and the pizza wasn't greasy. It wasn't hard to find street parking during the lunch hour, and the server was attentive and friendly. “This place rules. Homemade pierogi's are among the best in the area. Fresh, chewy dough. Same with the wings. Always perfectly crisped. I haven't had a lot of pan fried Sicilian pizza, but it's hard to imagine this not being among the best. Cold beer poured from clean lines into frosty pints. Excellent service. Clean space. Always playing good tunes. The part that REALLY sets it apart is how consistent it is. Food, cleanliness, service consistently meeting or exceeding their very high bar. I really L'Ov this place :)“

“My wife and I used to drive down from just north of Binghamton, NY to go to the Victory Pig for pizza. We were originally from the Wyoming Valley and were familiar with it, having patronized it for years. Lately, both their pizza and service had gone way down. Saw in a review where someone switched to Ceccoli's Pizza, and it was like the Pig used to be. Decided to take the hour and a half drive and check out Ceccoli's. It was delicious, with the chunky tomato sauce with lots of onions, good cheese, and a nice crisp crust. Their pork bbq is also great. Ann, the charming lady at the counter, was very accommodating and friendly, with a nice smile. Ceccoli's has great Old Forge style pizza, in my opinion, it's better than the places in Old Forge, as well as a very nice varied menu and all at a very reasonable price. Just keep in mind that it's takeout only, but worth the little bit of inconvenience.“

“Best pizza I have ever had. Unfortunately I live 2 hours away and only make it to Nanticoke twice a year to plant cemetery flowers. I try to come up on a Friday and usually buy 8-10 pies. They freeze pretty well. I usually eat an entire pie on the drive home. I had to make the trip this past Saturday and tried another Nanticoke shop. Not the same. Please try to open on Saturdays!“

If they would only expand and get some more ovens so a Friday night isn’t a 2.5 hour wait , hence the 3 in service.. but it’s in the smallest place in Wilkes barre w the most volume of calls .“
