It was packaged so it was still piping hot when I brought it home. Close to Hampton in & Hilton Garden Inn. It will be on my list of places to return to when I travel thru Wilkes-Barre.“

“Their pizza is the best pizza I’ve ever tried in my life! We travel 50 minutes 1 way from Benton to get it. I always get the Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza with sweet sauce and thick crust and my fiancé always gets the chicken wing pizza with thin crust. We have never tried anything else off their menu only bc we’ve been obsessed with the pizza we get from day 1. Great place and I recommend them to anyone who loves a good pizza!“

“Drove by this pizza place several times but just noticed it tonight. Hubby was driving so I googled it and we turned around to give them a try. I was a bit nervous because the pizza boxes seemed a bit light when bringing them to the car. They were pretty thin pizzas. Man were they good!! I really enjoyed the thin crust too. They were not too thin, just perfect actually!We will definitely go back for more. The prices were not bad either!“

“I have tried this restaurant several times now, and they are consistently delicious!! Their pan–fried pizza has become one of my favorites!! It’s so delicious, and somehow seems to be a little bit less greasy than pan–fried pizzas from some other restaurants in the area. I have only tried their wing bites once. However, they were good, so I would like to try all of the different flavors that they have to offer. I’ve also ordered several of the dinners, and they were all amazing as well!! Honestly, the only “critique“ that I have is that I wish that they would deliver to Pittston, or I wish that they were on one of the third–party apps such as DoorDash or Uber Eats so that I could order delivery from them. I would definitely order much more frequently if there was delivery available to Pittston.“

“Very underrated and slept on! Pizza is good (you know what you’re getting every time), the hot and ready is convenient and the price is even better. Takes me back to childhood lol I’d just complain about the inconvenience of the parking due to construction and it being hard to find.

Parking: With construction it’s a bit difficult and inconvenient but it’s free.“

“Walked in with my sister and 2 grandkids. The place was so clean you could eat off the floor! Decor was beautiful. Something for everyone on the menu, and i mean everyone. Marinara sauce was out of this world! Definitely order the cheesy garlic bread! Fries were crispy and not soggy. The young man who waited on us was clean and friendly, and very attentive. Sooooo going back a lot more! New favorite place. 5 stars and 5 bonus points! Way to knock it out of the park!“

Great tasting cheese that was perfectly melted, sauce was amazing, crust was perfectly crispy, pepperoni is the old style that curls up and crisp on the edges…. Took no time at all and made with fresh cut ingredients. Watched the gentleman make another chicken parm pizza while I was there - everything chopped, grilled, and made fresh from the fridges (not sitting in water wilting all day). You can tell care is put into everything they make. How this place doesn’t have a line out the door every day of the week I don’t know. Absolutely amazing. Some people would say the interior is “dated and old” - I personally find it wonderfully nostalgic. Clean and inviting. I will be back every time I’m in the area. I’d pay twice as much for a pizza this good. (Came to under $20 for a large pizza and 2 drinks!!!!). Thank you so much for an amazing experience and an even better meal.“

“This is the second time it was dried out. No taste. And the bottled garlic that they are using was so over powering it for Ed it down. And I asked for a little more sauce. When it came. It was all dried. Like it was sitting g under the heat lamp a long time. This is the second time. And it had no taste. Twice . And the prices have gone sky high for. Pasta. 17 for a lousy dish of clams in sauce that had no taste. I’m very sorry we loved co I g here for years. But the food is. O share what it is. “I do NOT recommend Grotto in Wilkes-Barre. Funny that I click on no, yet it shows that I do recommend it. Anyway, I have always like the Classic Pizza, and needed something for just myself. I looked at the pizza sizes, and a personal is listed as a 9" pie. I ordered that for pick up. I went to get it and was really surprised by the tiny box. I got it home and got out my measuring tape. This pizza was barely 7" and the box itself was barely 9". I was still hungry of course after eating it. I will never order from there again. What a rip off. I went on their website to complain too, and was not contacted by anyone. They obviously don't care about customer service.“

“Very accommodating, big portions, upfront about availability, friendly service, even though I went there before the evening rush, I didn't feel like I would be there forever because it was slow. I took my French fries to go and wasn't charged for modifications to my spaghetti dinner. There was a completely cheese-free pizza but I guess it didn't sell well. Personally, I miss it.“

“I don't like giving 5 stars just because it's a bar we all reach but are never meant to achieve but we feel good anyway. I give Phillys Phinest 5 bc I think they set the bar for what would be considered true Philly style food and atmosphere. The pizza is tops in the county - robust sauce, great fluffy thin crust, and cheese that may never break. Their wings are seasoned like I've never seen before and it's not your typical soggy, haphazard wing - they put into it what they would expect out of it for themselves. Crispy, large wings that can be a meal itself. I've had just about everything on the menu and there's nothing I wouldn't order again although there are a few things I can't stop ordering - monster cheesesteak with mayo, large plain pie, and their mild wings. Most orders come with the things you would expect but don't normally come without asking. That's a touch that keeps them all above any other shop. You may think I'm biased bc it's local but I know ppl that drive from all over to come here and not bc I asked them to try it. They've proven that word of mouth is the true tell tale sign of a successful and respectable business in luzerne county.“
