“The Pizza Place is not only one of the best pizza places that I have tried, it has the best customer service that I have seen in the area. My wife and I were married at Mountain Valley Golf Course and wanted to have pizza delivered to our guests following the wedding. The owner, John, was extremely helpful as he delivered our pizza after being closed and even stayed to make sure our pizza was hot. The pizza was phenomenal. The plain, sweet sauce, pickle pizza, Buffalo chicken and chicken bacon ranch were all fresh and delicious. Our guests RAVED about the pizza and continuously asked us where we got it from. Additionally, the cheesy bread sticks and bread sticks were great. John and The Pizza Place truly care about their customers and their pizza is clearly made with the freshest ingredients. “I have been getting pizza from Senape’s since I was a kid, pretty sure they were the very first pizza place I ever tried. My family and I have stayed loyal customers of their for years. I bring their pizza with me out to Pittsburgh and up to Scranton to visit friends and family, they all tell me how amazing the food is. If you are looking for a place that not only has unique and distinctive flavor to their pizza but also has the great toppings to match, Senape’s is the place to be.“

“I had just went to little caesar’s, the customer service was HORRIBLE!! it was a younger girl with bleached blonde hair, she couldn’t understand anything i was saying. i had said “light on sauce” about 3 times & she kept saying “no sauce”, she looked clueless, i had said have a goodnight twice & she just looked at me cluelessly. “This is a small restaurant, but I can assure you that the service, the food and the atmosphere are excellent. Most of their customers order food for takeout and pickup. But you can also go to eat there. I can say that it is there where I have eaten the most delicious pig's ears, I mean here in the United States. There the girls in the dining room will give you first-class attention. Anyway, I really liked this place. I should mention that it is Hispanic food, more Dominican than anything else.“

“You don't have to go to Hazleton, Reading or Wilkes Barre to experience fantastic food. Its right here in Frackville. Where else can you go where the food is prepared by the owner himself and doing it for many years. All the food is authentically Italian with that "Taste of Italy". The wife’s owner will greet you each and every time and make your luncheon and dining experience a very pleasant one. You will not be dissappointed!!“

“In Pennsylvania the place is GREAT! For $100 we got giant Hawaii pizza, 2 giant Stromboli, a chocolate musse, pasta, a Caesar salad, plus two small salads. The place: 33 E Centre St Mahanoy City, Mahanoy City, PA. The food there is the best I've ever tried (okay, one of the best) Tysm waitress and cook. They were both sweet and nice)“

“I called to order a large cheese pie for pick up with 6 garlic knots. A very polite lady answered the phone and was very friendly. She said it will be ready in 20 mins. Picked it up in 20 mins and sure enough it was hot & ready to go. Paid with card, quick and easy. Pizza tasted delicious, cheesy and flavorful. Bread crust was delicious and not chalky or stale like most other pizza places. The garlic knots tasted good too but were room temperature. I will ask them to warm them up when I order next time. I will definitely return and order from here again. Street parking available. Very clean and neat inside. Bench Table seating available inside for dine-in. Sodas and juices available in large fridge. Staff smiled and spoke with me as I paid. I will recommend for locals and those who are in the area looking for good pizza and service. Thank you!

“My family and relatives dined at Basile's today for a funeral lunch. The food was amazingly delicious! The portions are big and right for the price. “Everyone has their own experience I guess judging by other comments, but my fiancé and I started getting from here more often and haven’t seen or experienced anything negative or off-putting. Cheesesteaks and hoagies are the go to, fries are great, everything tastes amazing. People are friendly, always nice. The only downside is that it is a little pricey, so I cant really justify getting it as much as I’d like to. “Longo's bakery has a lot of good stuff, mostly pizza. There is one unique item, pitza. Pitza is square pizza made with sauce and cheese. Not the mozzarella cheese that is hot and gooey. It is more like the cheese that one would pour out of a can. I am not a fan of cold pizza but the pitza is definitely unique. I like the taste. The sauce is slightly spicy, very slightly and there is more than one cheese. The dough is chewy, different and unique from the usual hot crusty with lots of big whole dough in hot pizza. The prices are reasonable. Longo's also makes "regular" pizza. The staff is very friendly.“

“I had the best ever caprese panini this afternoon at Cafe Europa. Haven't been in the area long, first time I stopped by. The outside of the panini was seasoned well and an excellent dressing of olive oil and balsamic vinegar was provided on the side. A good amount of fresh mozzarella and delicious roasted peppers were pressed together and the taste was so good. Will go back for other delights. The Italian desserts looked great!“
